  • @brutalfrankieb cool thanks

  • Glad its making headway. Looking forward to any gigs and stuff :) (And I havent forgotten some words Paul).

  • Mark Sutcliffe was my guitar teacher when I was young - what a player. Anyone know where he is now?

  • @pullLDN About to front Trespass again. Should be some shows next summer.

  • @brutalfrankieb Amazing news! I can't wait!

  • Excellent track , very very underated band, "one of these days "is a classic rock track that never got the airplay it deserved.

  • I saw them supporting Budgie at West Runton Pavillion around 81' I think. They almost had as huge response as the headliner got and totally blew the place apart. Sad that they never acheived greater things. Check out the excellent best of available through Amazon. Good days!

  • 2 Mins 16 better than a blank screen, just that we can see and hear the band from that time is fanstastic.

  • grandes!!!

  • Can somebody post the whole song? For many years I had this and "Stormchild" from the Friday rock show session. Got mfm2 as well. I would have been 16 and Sudbury was a long way from Bury on an AP50!!!

  • Mark used to be my guitar teacher- excelent guitarist.

  • Great post! I remember this song - Trespass really were an awesome band and shoulda been huge! I remember Chris Collingwood's review of this gig - I saw Trespass a few month's later - happy times!

  • That hairy git singing is me . I had no idea this even existed till a mate posted me the link. I thought it was a wind up...

  • The entire gig exists in fact.

  • Sir!!!! Brilliant. I'd love to see the rest of this gig....

  • @FireMoon42 Hello Steve, You dont know me but I am Cris Linscott's son. Just thought I'd say hello.

  • If this was the gig at St Peter's Church, Sudbury, I was there. Looks like it could be, the acoustics were pretty bad as you'd expect from a church. I'm amazed that anyone managed to film this back then, anyone know who did it?

I saw their first gig at Sudbury Upper School when they were still "Track 4" and my geography teacher was on bass, my mate secretly taped it on a cassette recorder under his seat, but I don't know what happened to the tape.

  • Hi Pirate, we were there (at SUS) together then. My old man was also a teacher at the school he got me a signed copy of the single by all the band including Richard Penny.

I was also at the Caroline Radio gig plus many, many others all over the UK. I also helped out with the "Through The Ages" cassette abum.

Great days. Trespass never got the credt they deserved. Superb band.

    Cheers

    XRWoody

  • Yeah, St Peter's Church Feb 16th 1980 about 8:15pm.

  • Great song , Great Band, wish i was at this gig !!!!!

  • amazing footage, such an awesome band

  • Ha! I am Chris Collingwood that reviewed this gig for Sounds. I really, really though they would be up there with Leppard and Maiden. Ah well. Very stange to see this clip. It was at a big church hall in Sudbury where the band came from. It was them and the Radio Caroline roadshow, as I recall.. Didn't even know it was filmed - it's like having somone go into your memories! If you read this guys (and I heard from Dave Crawte about a year ago)....sorry I got it so wrong but hope all is ok.

  • Hello you wankers, Rob here. No hard feelings. hope i find you well. still a great song. love Rob.A

  • wow this brings back some metal for muthas memories.....awesome song......great band !!

  • Bloody hell! Just sat here having a NWOBHM reminisce to myself and slammed an unlikely 'Trespass' in the search box! Brilliant. I bought this as a single when it first came out from 'Adrians' out of the back of Sounds paper. Lost in time now but remember it had a yellow record label. How sad......

  • Where the hell did you get this ?

    Awesome rarity !!

  • samson"hard times",white spirit s\t,trespass singles tygers of pan tang man this is really classic yet unknown stuff

  • What a melody! Must be among Top 10 NWOBHM songs ever written!

  • Gotta love that lead guitar man...great stuff!

  • wow. a rare treat. I love YouTube for stuff like this!

  • One of the greatest songs ever writen! Please upload the whole song! The guitar solos are amazing it's such a shame Trespass didn't get the recognition they deserve.
