@sirtinycreep I have a few different versions of this theme song I got them for my son, he loves the theme song from Doctor Who and the one he likes the most is from the 70s and my son is only 6.
Glad you mentioned "The Talons of Weng-Chiang", TheKakuroMaster. This was the first story I remember watching when they started showing this on UK GOLD. Really scary with all the giant rats!
Do you know for the last 3 years I have been thinking of ways for the 4th doctor to return for a one off in a new episode. First idea was a clone of the 4th Doctor, but the best one yet is he could simply have split in two and vanished out into space during his regeneration. It would also simply explain why he has aged when he returns. After all he did have the weirdest regeneration out of all the Doctors apart from Troughton so far.
I must say this was the best tribute to Tom Baker the best of all the Doctors I have ever seen. I just wish that I could see more of the older Doctor Who eposides like the ones in your tribute. Keep up the good work.
Best Doctor, best music and the BBC have made a dogs bum of it all. Tennant, good turn but not the doctor. Not even a medic nurse assistance. By the way Thornaby Spitfire Pub is a TIA shit hole.
I have a stripey scarf like his! I love it to bits. The best Doctor, even though I wasn't around to see the episodes aired on TV (too young...). David Tennant is good though too...
Doctor #4 is the one that got me hooked. In the late 70's here in America, his early episodes (Robot thru Invasion of Time) were played endlessly on public television as well as local stations. And I couldn't get enough of it.

I agree Tom got me hooked, I couldn't get enough. PBS loved the Doctor in the 80's. And i still have a crush on Romana.
While I never had a crush on Romana, this is how I got hooked as well. I watched it on Public Television and couldn't get enough of it!! Loved Tom Baker, and I still do.
He's the definite article

After Baker and Pertwee left the scene Dr Who went rapidly down hill and has remained there ever since. Modern episodes are UTTER garbage.

That's the first Dr Who theme music - much better than the tinny syth crap introduced in 1980.

Yeah, some of my favorite Doctor Who serials come from Tom's era like: The Horror of Fang Rock, the Talons of Weng-Chiang, and the Planet of Evil.
