  • I'm English and I love the steriotypical abuse everyone (but the perfect kiwis of course.....) receives. It's banter. Or is it 'yarn'? Whatever, lighten up, it's funny shit :)

  • @Larrywoof and Munster are the Kiwi's of the Irish

  • I know this is all a joke, but come on.........Ireland a part of the UK?? That's like saying NZ is a part of Australia. We most certainly are not a part of the UK. Not unless this game was played in Belfast.

  • @chickenfillets74 dont take it seriously

  • @chickenfillets74 It never says Ireland are part of the UK. In fact this was the ARC's tour of the UK and not the AB's (obviously). Alternative Commentary called the game at the Barley Mow, Chiswick!

  • i think thats why irish and kiwis get on so well, we are too much alike! :)

  • MUNSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 'Binge drinking at the footy is colourblind'

  • Its rugby guys. Get a life & enjoy the commentaries.

  • Whats with all the Politics and History Lessons? My understanding of this vid was pointing out the similarity between the aggro (all be it a lot less nowadays) between Ireland and England, and the aggro between New Zealand and Australia, (especially in competition). Its all meant in good fun. I am Irish and I feel that we have more in common with the kiwis in our general outlook! Just enjoy Jed and his commentaries for the great sense of humour that he has, Its all good!

  • Ireland are more related to Australia than Nz.. Thats where most of the catholic convicts came from to settle in australia. Nz was more settled by the scots and welsh.

  • @marcellin20

Not really. Catholic or not, Australia came under the British crown. It still has the Queen, but the Queen is powerless - just a pointless relic. Actually, Ireland & Australia/NZ have very little in common. Ireland had sub-colonies in the modern day US of A, but that's about it. Please, currect me if i'm wrong.

  • @762SLR762

    Good at least that's sorted.

  • Fine Northern Ireland, not the north of Ireland. They are still part of the UK, hence why they are still on the Union Jack.

  • The Irish are the Kiwis of the north! lol......does that make the Kiwi's the Irish of the south?? ;) I think thats a really cool way of looking at our two countries! Cant wait to see NZ in 2010.

  • wow the Irish are the kiwis of the nord..

    wonderful theory!

  • haha holy shit, we fully are the NZ of the northern hemisphere. go on the boyyyyysss

  • haha classic, im aussie and love alternative rugby. why be so uptight about shit its having a light hearted crack at things.

  • this gy is alegend lmao

  • Can I just clarify! We Welsh are not imperial at all! We were the first country to be taken over by the English Empire! We've been miserable about it ever since!

Don't put us in the same basket as the English! Whatever you do, don't do that!

  • don't worry wales=better than the english

  • Yep, and i live in wales as a kiwi, and i think youll find he is aiming the imperialist bastards at the English, hehe, which they are, or where!.

  • *were

At least use our imperial language correctly kiwi lol

  • U know what, i think this guy is class, ive seen a lot of his stuff. I think the probs you have in the UK just make me laugh, thats why im of to Qatar to get away from your countries constant mess, haha, your all stiff as shit, haha. Chill. And yes, Welsh are far better than all of em,hehe!, good rugby players, and far nicer ppl than more specifically the English.

  • Yeah, all the 'African Americans' have Welsh surnames for the laugh, ronald'. No imperialism there.

  • u kicked irelands ass.. munster put up a good show

  • gaaaah if only i checked youtube a few months earlier! i would have gone

  • Ireland's in the UK? That's News to me.

  • The north is still part of the UK. But they play as one in international rugby.

  • yeahh... but like still thats wrong lol. ireland is ireland :)

  • How is that wrong? Its a fact, the north of Ireland is still part of Britain. They just play as one country in rugby and other sporting events.

  • no you dope we dont play together in soccer

  • Mybad, I guess only rugby,

  • GAA, golf, tennis, hockey, cricket are all-island sports too

  • Part of the UK, not Britain. And Northern Ireland, not the north of Ireland (e.g. Donegal). Ha, pendants like me are the scum of the Earth, I know!

  • jaysus ye were lucky fraser.. the redness should have had ye.

  • I'm not sure who I want to lose the most - the Criminals, or those Pommie Bastards..!

  • I feel i speak for all of the English people on youtube when i say...

"hahaha, now do us, now do us, now do us!"

  • its coming, its coming.

  • So is Christmas mate. Really.

  • why? really. why?

  • I commented on this on another video, Munster Beat yiz b4 and well do it again, Dougie Howletss playin 4 The Blackness aint he? if sum1 knows cheers

  • yeah, that was a loooong time ago.

um, howlett will be playing for munster.

  • lucky 4 u dreams come free mate

  • Fraz,

I hope you can Jedi can make it over to the USA when the Blackness comes to play a test in Yanquilandia. Just be careful in which parts of town & country you use the "blackness".

  • Surely "The Blackness" in rugby terms means nothing like the possible meaning you are suggesting. Black is New Zealand's national colour. Anyone who finds a way to take offence at another country's national colours, well should at least buy an atlas!

  • Totally agree with you.

My only point was being careful using that in the USA amongst mixed (i.e. non-rugby) company. Then again, might be fun to see non-rugby folks' reactions to it.

  • yeah, there have been incidents like that already...a friend of mine was barred entry from a club by the african-american bouncer in Vegas. He was wearing an All Blacks top which the bouncer took offence at (the wearer is most definitely white). The bouncer couldn't accept that there would be a team in the world called the 'All Blacks' that could be filled with players who aren't black. Pointing out that the team name has been around for a century didn't seem to make much difference.

  • There is a clothing brand in Argentina called "John L. Cook", which used the Confederate flag as its logo. The folks that started the line must havethought it only meant "Rebel".

I had some cousins come over to the USA (to the East Coast), and I had to not bother bringing any of those clothes with them, unless they wanted to get their tails kicked when they went into the big cities.

Funny that in ARG they had no clue what it really meant.

  • btw -- did the All Blacks top have an Adidas or Canterbuty logo on it? Americans know Adidas, but most have never heard of Canterbury.

  • I like how the NZ Basketball team is the Tall Blacks.

  • Precisely.

  • A full strength Munster squad would stand a better chance of beating the All Blacks than Ireland do.

  • what? because they would have at least 3 former all blacks?

  • by god there'll be porter drank in limerick.

  • you might even meet some all blacks.

  • are you coming to limerick fraser? claaaas!!

  • wooo all blacks beat the criminal element 19-14 earlier :D

  • Christ I dont have a ticket for the Kiwi match but Listening to Jed in Trinity will be more than an brilliant substitute. G'won Munster ya legends and I hope the Blackness beat those cocky Aussie feckers in Hong Kong.

  • Why pick on the Micks when you can take the piss out of the Pommies? The Kiwis will never forgive the Pommies for populating Australia with The Crooks. Without H.M.S. Botany Bay and co., Australia would be the Kiwis' beachfront resort.

  • He didn't slag off the Irish for once

  • I'm fair sickened that munster won't be able to pick from the full squad for the all blacks game, but at the same time the AB's will probably rest Carter and McCaw and without those two a good under 16 side could beat them :) Does anyone know if they'll do the haka or is that only done before test matches?

  • yeah its sad eh. why bother with these tests unless you pick your absolute best team? will be a bit strange that the big players left will be the likes of howlett.

  • In fairness everyone in munster would love to pick them, and i'm sure the players themselves would nearly rather play in the munster match than the ireland one, but the players are centrally contracted to the IRFU and they said they couldn't play. we're expecting big games from the 3 kiwi lads in the backs, Mafi and Dougie have been outstanding this year. should be a deadly match anyway.

  • you are defintly one of the gods of rugby. the equivilent of Hermis. deliver us the rugby news :) im from canada so there is one channel to get rugby on. and its $15/month for the channel alone.

  • You guys have hit the nail right on the head again. Good work lads

  • "binge drinking at the footy is colour blind" - that's massive!!! never heard words as true as these :D

  • The comparison of Ireland to NZ and UK to Aussie just rocked.

  • Kinda of like Fraz's previous one about Canada tests...

The neighbors (AUS/USA) are a pain in the ass

  • Brillant :D even thou I Dont like the irish :L x

  • awesome, keep up the good work

  • as always...nice!
