  • Good info.

  • I wish it were a bit more focused on public health issues. Some of this is more architecture and urban planning. When you throw your net too wide it dissolves some of the message. Where I am in NY, there are a lot of architecturally grim spaces that are actually quite thriving. I like the idea of the photo surveys, of course, but people would love also to hear the epidemiology.

  • @Guineffss Our built environment is an integral part of our health. For example, lots of crime and noise can lead to stress which leads to worse health. Making it safe for people to go outside can help build community and reduce isolation, protective effects on health. Epidemiology is not about just the physical aspects of disease, if I understand the last part of your comment right.
