hello i thought the video was very help full so i would like to know were you got the back pack from and maybe how i could get one similar since i live in the UK . thanks x
Thank you Jason! I have been thinking of getting the Kestrel 32 for my own daypack. Your video is the final deciding factor! I LOVE Osprey's line and have a softspot for the Kestrel line specifically. I already own the Kestrel 38, the Kestrel 58, and the smaller Daylight. The Daylight is good for day to day use but gets crowded too quickly when I pack my DSLR and Macbook...
fason i love ur vids. i wrote 2 u b4 'im 56 yr old lady stroke survivor i still go in the wo0ods just not as far or fast as i used 2. i don't personally worry about water filtration. i been drinking out of streams/brooks here since i was a kid. i notice in this pak u didnt have a 1st aid kit remember to add just a little one. take care. ur fan......karen
Thanks for sharing Jason really enjoyed it and watched it in HD and the production looked really good. Warmly, Laurie (who loves having that clipper knife)
im very impressed with the water filtration system that you have rigged up due to this being of great concern as there is only so much water i can carry. you used chlorine or iodine pills to pre treat the water i wonder on the nessesity of this and i can only assume that as you do it that it has no affect on the filter or the anti fungal property of the AQUAMIRA FRONTIER PRO WATER FILTER.
Nice pack mine is quite similar but no camera gear just a solo key not the hole ring (it just lives in my backpack and i lock the keyring in my car) add a small pistol (Ruger LCP) I also carry about 15 feet of para cord thermal tights and a 6x8 hunk of tarp.
Very nice setup. I notice, though, that you have everything to keep your upper body warm and protected but nothing for your legs or feet. Why is that?
Thank you for the video posts. They're always very informative.

Do you ever wear hiking boots ? If so which brand do you recommend ?
BeautifulLyar 11 months ago
@BeautifulLyar
I don't wear boots. I wear low cut hiking shoes and almost exclusively Merrell (like the Pulse Series).

im not 100% on osprey, my freind tim has one and hes loves it, i dont like the compression straps on the larger modles, they always seem abit thin!

My legs don't get cold. In winter, I might wear long underwear but this is my 3-season stuff.
