Ironically I watched this when it happened. I'd never watched the livestream before but always been an Athene fan and I was very confused when I'd come back to my comp every x amount of time and there was all this hustle and bustle. Anytime someone tries to do something on a large scale production (be it internet poker or global politics) there will always be assholes there to try and stop it.

To those assholes, It's just giving us banana time....

more than likely it was some sort of DoS attack, denial of service, when somone bombards your pc with an insane amount of burst requests or repeat requests, that your internet has no choice but to either 'block it' (firewall) if you know their ip or the port being used, or simply send data back (and have no time to send/recieve other data) and lose internet conectivity because you cant conect to anything eg, poker server, msn, even the internet service provider ur with, forcing a disconect.
