I am hoping to come out of college as a criminal justice major and attempt to find out what that place exactly is, unfortunately, I don't think anyone will ever know. Right now I believe it is arrest the bad guys, help the good guys. Unfortunately, the overcrowding problem is only getting worse, maybe we should put a little more effort into helping the bad guys into become good guys.
He knew his buddy who ran and the officer was trying to get the information from him. If he actually did it, it would be torture which is only legal for the CIA apparantly. By no means am I always with the police, but on this one I am. He was just trying to scare him a little into telling the suspect who the other guy was that ran. Right now I believe it is arrest the bad guys, help the good guys. By no means am I always with the police, but on this one I am. He was just trying to scare him a little into telling the suspect who the other guy was that ran. If he values his job he won't ever actually deploy the taser though.

@TheHairmeister : I agree with you. I have no real love for the police, the police have a tough situation in society. To the public, the 'roughing up' of criminals looks abhorrent and has some sinister underlining somewhere out of public view, but, when it comes down to catching the criminals which method is going to prevent further crime?
I'd rather this guy gets it in the nuts than to have his "pals" perhaps rape my daughter or rob my house, etc.. in the future.
