im no phyicist but wouldnt a planet 1000 times the mass of ours have a gravitational pull 1000 times ours and not 40, for 40 times the pull of earth wouldnt planet have to be just 40 times more mass, or am i wrong and am i pedantic much.and yes i know theyre implying some grav device pulled them in, i did get that

Not only are the visual design elements extraordinary for a low budget scifi film, but the sound design is really good as well. Adds some very creepy aural textures.

Yeah, there is quite a bit of Planet of the Vampires imagery in Alien.
