Very accurate video. I from Michoacan and learned about this facts at school. Aztecs could never conquer Tarascos. Not even Spanish men could dominate them, not even untill this days. Michoacan still has a large pure blood tarascan population and some of them dont speak spanish. They try to keep them pure from any other blood and customs. Only Catholic religion could them down through a missionary named by them as "Tata" Vasco. This man was so good to them.

opino lo mismo en la forma que todo typico mexicano cre que viene de sangle azteca porque esta moreno o rasa espanola por que esta guero. Pero en lo que si estas mal es en que los purepechas no se vendieron...Soy orgullosamente michoacano pero si no saves la historia de erendida ikukunari la princesa purepecha no saves la historia purepecha. Los espanoles no completamente conquistaron a michoacan por que no estavan tan interesados en la cultura. Sorry por esplotar tu balon.

@manuel86g Realmente no soy de origen Purepecha!Mis antepasados son Pirindas y los Aztecas se aliaron con los españoles para acabar con los Purepechas y Pirindas.los Pirindas al Sureste del reino Purepecha y el resto a los pueblos Purepechas y te dire algo ,los españoles nunca estuvieron interesados en ninguna cultura .Lo que ellos querian eran las riquezas!Con eso de la cultura me sonastes muy tierno ja ja ja!Aunque el unico que juegas las pelotas eres tu,de cualquier manera te metere un gol!

@indigo4fox i think you are wrong on your comment, its been recorded by the Spaniards that they went to find the Purepechas so they can allied with the Spaniards to defeat the Aztecs, which the Purepechas did, they ended up defeating the Aztecs and killing many of them

i always new i was Mayan (moms side) and Aztec(dad) but just 3 months ago i asked my granmother (dads side) and she said my grandfather was Aztec and she was of Purepeche Decent. After that i was very excited to find out more about this new world i was just told about and have found out alot.

my mother is from pinzandaro a town that had both aztec and purepechas in the time after the conquistators invaded so i am both aztec and purepecha!!! which makes me of noble heathen blood!! pure volcanic skin!!

I agree with the video. I am also from Michoacan and I have been investigating. You can also do google search on tarascos or purepechas. It will give you good information. Saludos,
