One more things that jumped out to me..The plan mandates that there will be THE FEDERAL COUNCIL FOR COMPARATIVE EFFECTIVENESS RESEARCH. The purpose of this is to ..."slow the development of new medications and technologies in order to reduce cost."..and this will be the law.

Each Hospital will have a Coordinator For Health Information and Technology. Their job..." Monitor treatments being delivered to make sure doctors and hospitals are strictly following govt guidelines that are deemed appropriate." It goes on to say..."Doctors and hospitals not adhearing to guidelines will face penalties"...Those in congress says penalties are up to six figure fine or inprisonment. ie.. if your doc does a procedure on you that the govt does not deem you need...there is trouble!

the bill says this..Section 102 has the title, "Protecting the Choice to Keep Current Coverage."..This section mandates that it is illegal to keep your private insurance if your status changes. Your status is...lose or change jobs, retire from job or become a senior, or graduate from college and get your first job. So unless someone dies in their current occupation before they retire...they will HAVE to, by law, go on the govt health plan.

The more you read this crap the worse it gets: Section 1233 of H.R. 3200. The section, titled Advanced Care Planning Consultation requires senior citizens to meet at least every 5 years with a doctor or nurse practitioner to discuss dying with dignity. The section requires that they talk to their doctor, not a lawyer, about living wills, durable healthcare powers of attorney, hospice, etc. Just another way the government let's you know your time is up!!

In order to effectively insure all Americans, medical costs must be deflated, doctors must be monitored for diagnostic efficiency, the pay must be reduced for doctors that prescribe brands when they should prescribe equivalent and often superior generics, hospitals should no longer own property to rent to physicians that admit to the same hospital (a quid pro quo beneficial arrangement that promotes unnecessary and unethical costs) & small industry cannot be made to insure its workers.
