Actually, a shoe can...if shoes were not an important factor in basketball, then players would still be wearing old ass converse Chuck Taylors...ankle support, weight, etc.....I think we all have played in a pair of uncomfortable shoes before...it justs messes with you the whole game...i'm very particular about my feet when i Hoop....socks and shoes gotta be right..i think any ball player would agree...shoes matter.

@dbizzle31 you are right to an extent. it's not what the shoe does but how comfortable you feel while wearing the shoe. Personally I always have to double up my socks to play ball, more of a comfort thing than anything else. However I don't agree with the jump shot aspect of what you have to say....Most pure shooters can shoot in anything from anywhere in their respective range, I can shoot 3's all day in sandals, doesn't make a difference...shoes only matter in a full ball game

Kobe 7s, regardless te tech, fits really well because of the sock design. Its jsut a smart design, regardless the technology, have something to hold your foot, its REALLY comfortable and secure. Its kind of in the hyperdunk 2011s but is the main tech of the kobe 7s. I don't like the foot wrap but the inner sock that the Attack fast has.

What about it? The shoes offer plenty of lock down that prevents ankle injuries. This has been the case since the Kobe line started going only with low tops and is the reason that Kobes are the most worn sig shoe in the NBA right now.
