  • @mochaspice5 You need a trackball replacement. We have these at RepairsUniverse (dot) com

  • @RepairsUniverse can you put your old lens back on if youve taken it off a bold 9780 :)

  • @14addz Many of the lenses are compatible, you will have to compare them, but if it fits, it fits, no issues should arise. I am unsure about the 9780, but there shouldn't be an issues figuring that out.

  • @RepairsUniverse can you do a video of removing a lens from a bold 9780 in future? :)

  • will this fix scathes on the screen?

  • @goffy888 Yes, this is the suggested way. It is a fairly inexpensive solution and doesn't require much effort or skill. You can find these lens replacements at RepairsUniverse (dot) com

  • Can you make one for the 8520?

  • @kevinGvue The lens is replaced the same way on the 8520. Simple pry off and replace, using new adhesive.

  • Would this fix dead pixels?? Cause my phone screen is completely White with coloured lines in-between and my mates telling me it's alright cause you get a free warranty on every contracted phone but I don't wanna walk in there and be told it will cost me loads.

  • @Bleachbabe900 You will need the LCD screen replacement to fix dead pixel issues. You can find these at RepairsUniverse (dot) com

  • I broke my BB screen; dropping it at a basketball game. I ordered the pry tool and screen from this site. The shipping was fast. I opened the package when it arrived, turned on this tutorial and followed. Viola its as good as new! I am really bad at fixing things. This was inexpensive and great!

  • @ChocolateDigital Glad to hear we could help you repair your phone.

  • I'm thinking about buying a new lens screen so this is pretty useful. What do you think I should do though if the usb port on mine is missing a port and charges only if I slightly plug it in & in a special way? Also, any big movements will make my phone say it is not charging. There's insurance on my phone so could taking it in would fix this my usb??

  • Thanks for the video - your lens seem to come off so easily.

do I have to use the plastic pry tool or I can use any flat head screwdriver?

    Thanks

  • @pinkberrydrink We recommend the pry tool. A screwdriver could scratch / damage the screen underneath.

You can find both the lenses and tools at RepairsUniverse (dot) com

  • The lens protector was really broken in my blackberry, i couldn't see anything and i just tear down the lens but i think that some legs that attach to the body of the blackberry broke up so i want to know if i have to take out those legs somehow or there are no legs

  • The way you removed the lens; does that way work when replacing a lens for a blackberry curve 8350?

  • @CodyLClawges The 8530 is slightly different. Check our 8520 video as both the 8520 and 8530 are the same.

  • Wow! Thanks. Quick question, why do some suppliers have the blackberry 8330 replacement screen come with a sticky/glue cover on the inner lens? Is it necessary to have it on? I've seen u don't have it on the inner part of the screen.

  • No, you don't want it on the inner lens. Just on the plastic edges of the lens as in our video.

  • ok thanks, so I'd use this video i guess to fix my screen thanks

  • I cracked my blackberry screen, It seems like it's the outer screen would that be considered the lens or the screen replacement. I have seen both of your videos but i don't know which video i should use as an example for fixing my screen.

  • The outer screen is the lens. We have the lenses for sale on the RepairsUniverse (dot) com web site.

  • You just saved me $100.00
