Considering clearing that apartment is very easy, even on versus, I wouldn't exactly call that an exploit.

You probably lose less health among the group actually clearing it than walking off the ledge too.

Yall did that wrong. You're not supposed to jump off. You're simply supposed to run off. You'll lose 10-20 health. Also, they fixed this in Advanced, Expert, and in Versus.

Little tip though so you don't lose as much health... You don't actually have to jump. If you run off the edge making sure your gun is facing the vent you'll still make it and you will only lose 12 health :)

Since they took it out of the versus map version while leaving it in the co-op one, obviously they realized it was there it some point. Either it was intended, or the playtesters saw it in testing and decided to leave it in for the hell of it.
