Never could truly tell that she was a mezzo-sop rather than a full soprano until I heard her difference in tone to the standard female vocalists who sing this song.

This isn't a negative comment, I'm just pointing out that the fact she's a mid-range female singer is most apparent in this video.

BOTH are brilliant here though.

I agree, katherine was a bit louder, probably the balance was out, and, to be fare, it was recorded on a phone or a video camera - although very good, it cannot do the performance justice, with such limited technology. Hope Russ is better now. Thanks for The Voice!
