from someone(me) who served in a war, forward deployed right in the heart of the action, I would give up every medal, accolade and applause(I sing quite a bit) and honor I have ever received if it would usher in an era of worldwide peace, equality and compassion...still hoping, believing and waiting...love, Gary
John Denver was a true musical star who combined spirituality with compassion. His far seeing insights are deeply missed today when violence and war continues to wreck humanitys hopes of a better world, but his heritage lives on.
My grandfather died in 1917 in the 'Great War' and never knew my father (his son) and like my father I share his first name.
I also share my second name with my mothers brother (killed in the second world war). New Zealand has just respected another Anzac Day and the expansion that this has become to other wars - so I relate to this!!
It took hours of going through the most graphic war images to get some pics I could use for this video, I used very diluted ones in the end because my innards were so sickened by what I saw. Thank you geoff1945.
Probably your most accomplioshed video yet. I'm just humbled to look. misunderstanding of each other. Not seeing that we all sing the same song of pain and hope for the future. Thin line. but worth crossing. God bless. FB
this shit sucks.
Thank you for your attention,
- Carlos

Can a song change the world? ..... This one did .... Along with Sting's "The Russians Love Their Children too."
