  • This could actually help you with guitar

  • very cool.

  • COOOOL

  • Whether or not this concept itself is a good new approach for the series, somebody must get this video in the hands of Harmonix now! These are the kinds of minds they want for their franchise.

  • dude, if your playing the first to fifth bars on the real guitar, isn't in the same damn thing as playing on the regular one?!

i thought you had found a way to reprogram the game into accepting real cords, cause that would be awesome. otherwise it's just exactly the same thing we already have. plus finger callouses.

  • Actually, we're working on a method to use the controller to actually read real chords or notes on a scale. So while right now, it'll only let you practice fretting, in a few weeks, you'll be able to use it to help you practice other things, too.

Of course, if you want to learn how to play real guitar, you're also going to need to practice actual guitar, too...

  • crazy must send to nintendo now

  • It's a neat concept, but the problem is that the notes played in the game don't really correspond with notes on the guitar. The guitar sounds dissonant, because you're not actually playing the song. If you made your own game, similar to Frets on Fire, or Guitarfun, that allowed people to actually play along with a song, that would be awesome.

  • only it's not playing real guitar

  • Guitar Hero: not just for poseurs anymore.
