Well, he Yasha's blade is a lot more traditional and actually fairly close to an actual Nihonto. But the L6 is some pretty amazing stuff when heat treated properly. Personally, I would probably go the L6.
I realize now that this sword is not very good for the price. You could have had gotten an MAS or a Paul Chen bainite katana with that. And i am sure that would not have had bent.

@Dorisequador He cuts a real tree and the sword (just like ANY REAL Japanese Nihonto) took a slight bend in the blade from the stress.

You could get better blades, however. But, it is a fine sword....I would have to go with an MAS katana first.

Check the review on SBG (just finished). I think it is too much too, but the blade is very nice (laminated, folded and clayed).
