How To Decrease Your Boot Time

hay mate my coputer recently, about 4 days ago, began taking alot longer to start than it usually does and i havnt made any software or hardware changes at all. any ideas

jkdefrag does a really good job at actually optimizing your drive, it took off atleast 20 seconds of boot time from my system (which had no fragmentation at all)

using msconfig is just wrong, its only good for narrowing down problems. use windows services to properly disable services ya dont need, and regedit to remove startup entries. only use msconfig if ya aint a clue what ya doing, and def dont mess with regedit unless ya confident in ya abilities.

i have windows 7 and i did stuff and i went from 147 to 115 in seconds of start up timing...i need to be at 50 seconds...i will be more satisfied

They're just icons to launch different applications. They're custom images for Rocketdock.

I just get them straight from the Windows website which you can get to just by pressing the plus button, then hitting "get gadgets from online" or something along those lines. For the three I have in this video just search for a binary clock, twitter, and the black system monitor, i can't remember the exact names since I don't have them anymore

I think they should be just about the same, so if you have Windows Defragmenter it should work just fine.
