@alishanmao I'm a two-stroke freak, I love them and prefer them even though there's a lot of fixing and changing of pistons and rigs and you have to do. But if you want the fastest and most exiting of those two, buy the Honda. It's much faster after all:)

I actually had a 3 cylinder Honda NS400R(the worlds' fastest production 400cc in 1985-87.(don't know if that was sold in Asia, maybe only the two cylinder 250 version was sold there), and I had it tuned, motor made stronger with new exhaust, new carbs, new ports, and it was SO fast, man! Two stroke is funny, but fourstrokes last longer, don't need so much fixing all the time. And you get 4-strokes bigger and faster. Cheers! : )
i have the same bike now, the air filter is changed, the needles are changed and it has an arrow exhaust but it only goes 180 kmph ,
Did the previous owner make it accelerate faster or is there something wrong?
Or might this be a japanese restricted one witch i doubt or is it just the exhaust that makes it go slower because the bike only starts to pulls away in 8500 rpm instead of the standard 8000 rpm, any help or info appreciated
@ExecutionerTom Decoke the exhaust silencers as a blocked silencer will make the machine noticeably sluggish. Then repack it if necessary. Balance the carbs as well. Check the easy stuff first such as spark plugs.

@thefugitive1965 You have clearly never ridden in Australia even in the bush where this was filmed its has good roads,limited traffic and vast open countryside mostly fenced,great for fast riding! Night riding is another story then roo's are a serious problem.
my rgv250 is ported and polished, gonna get tyga pipes very soon, however mine gets off the clock, uphill, and alot quicker. i think you should invest in some porting!!

My first road bike was a RGV 250, it's the only bike that I've ever regretted selling. I've never been able to go through the twisties as fast as I did on that... now riding a GSXR1000.
actually I own a Kawasaki Ninja RR 2stroke 150cc (check my channel), you can only find in Asia. I do go to 205km/h. It is the fastest 2stroke 125-155cc in his category. But no bike is more legend that the one and only the Suzuki RGV 250 and then comes NSR 250 MC28..
@Andirwan I have a Ninja RR 150cc.... luckly I live in Asia.... I also have rgv 250 and I think its the best.... Actually you can change the Ninja back sprocket to 36 and it can go to 210km/h....

I can't believe how much shit is written on Youtube! This is only a video! (and a pretty good one). what's with all the BS? 125cc roadbikes that top out at 140 mph (225 kph)? Sure, maybe if its balanced, blueprinted, ported, polished and lightened by 75 pounds.. Even then you'd be pushing it and probably have to rebuild after a run like that.
with a good long straight you'd probably get another 10 kph out of the rgv (at the risk of blowing up the engine). Anyway, nice video!

@SuperFkoff RS has same bottom end (crankshaft etc) as the RGV, but RS has Aprilia pistons, barrels, expansion chambers and CDI unit, and I think the carburetors are slightly different as well.

@DKGate7Ultras No, This is NOT a good bike for starters it has a power to weight ratio that most larger more powerfull bikes could not better untill recently by some large capacity (over 600cc) 4 stroke sports bikes, two stroke engines also have a powerband (sudden burst of power at a certain rev range) which has caught out the most expieriencd riders from time to time, and there is NO gear position indicator
I bought a Kawasaki KR1 when they came out in 1989 and it hit 145 mph on the speedo, don't know what that is in kph? RGV was supposed to be more powerful than the KR1 too!

another example is an R1 and a CBR1100 Blackbird, R1 has a much bigger appreciation to younger and lunatic riders but if you got someone to ride the Blackbird properly and not just round europe with the missus on the back... it would leave the R1 for dust upto 150mph on a straight road!!! the torque from the Blackbird is amazing despite it only being a classed as a tourer.

@SuperFkoff RS has same bottom end (crankshaft etc) as the RGV, but RS has Aprilia pistons, barrels, expansion chambers and CDI unit, and I think the carburetors are slightly different as well.

Ok look.This is a comment to help anyone who is intrested to buy a supersport.I never had a little bike like 50cc or 100cc or even 125cc.My first machine was a Triumph daytona 600 2004 model.The key of the story that:You have the brain and the hands to drive your bike just as you want.Even if you buy a bike with low power ratio or even you wont.Better and bigger bikes are containing better gear too.like better brakes netter handling and can be viewable more easy than a little 6 speed bike.So..

@DKGate7Ultras No, This is NOT a good bike for starters it has a power to weight ratio that most larger more powerfull bikes could not better untill recently by some large capacity (over 600cc) 4 stroke sports bikes, two stroke engines also have a powerband (sudden burst of power at a certain rev range) which has caught out the most expieriencd riders from time to time, and there is NO gear position indicator

I bought a Kawasaki KR1 when they came out in 1989 and it hit 145 mph on the speedo, don't know what that is in kph? RGV was supposed to be more powerful than the KR1 too!

The RVF may have a better top end but the RGV would easily kick the RVF's arse upto 100mph... EASILY!!!!!
another example is an R1 and a CBR1100 Blackbird, R1 has a much bigger appreciation to younger and lunatic riders but if you got someone to ride the Blackbird properly and not just round europe with the missus on the back... it would leave the R1 for dust upto 150mph on a straight road!!! the torque from the Blackbird is amazing despite it only being a classed as a tourer.
