@UnseenMike not really. so long as you get a small or standard size they typically are only a few hundred dollars. I know the low end 3/4 sized ones often go for under $200 us. they wont last you very long but should be good enough for a person who just wants to play this. Also keep in mind one of the main things that makes cellos expensive is the history behind some of them. I used to play on a 5/4 and it was nice, worth about $1500, size and name make a difference in price.

Learned how to play this song on the viola...but its kinda sad that nobody only likes it for the music except for a few people :/ instead of focusing on (*cough*sexy*cough*) Haji for a minute, listen to the vibrato, and the legato movement of the bow....then put Haji back int here and go to town :D
