bdgogia. No I don't acquire so much knowledge in classical music. However, this song from Ladli written by Behzad Lucknowi seems to have a touch of Bhairvi in it. Film Music Directors would often mix ragas to make it suitable for screen output and so that the audience would not get bored of "pure" ragas. That's what makes Indian Film Music, the most unique Music in the world. Anil Biswas was a unique MD himself.

Hello Yuan and thanks again for yet another sweet drop of "Morning Dew". The raag of this song requires the voice/voices to sing it in the early hours of morning. Music Director Anil Biswas summoned Talat and Lata to report to the studios for it to be recorded between 3am & 4am. They both showed up promptly and the song was a hit.

This song was written by D.N. Madhok. By penning beautiful melodies, It was he, who lifted Anil Biswas and Naushad to fame in their early years.
