I saw the original in 1975 and was absolutely thrilled. I would love to see the entire hour again. Spectacular. The best of the Porter/Berlin/Gershwin trilogy, although all were a celebration of American music.

Here it is! I was just viewing the first clip and didn't see part 2. Amazing. I wish PBS would air this again. No other station would air anything like this again but it really should be seen. Not only for their great performances but for an education of the Gershwin's music.

Can you hear the urgency in my voice? Boy are you guys ever lucky you've both seen Steve and Eydie in concert a number of times. I did not get the chance to see Francis A. Sinatra in concert Dave...I'm not going to miss out on seeing S&E.
