You brought back so many memories for me in this video, especially with the foil covered stove! I haven't seen one since my abuelita's house lol One thing I didn't see was cabbage, you should really try it. It tastes delicious with the other vegetables!
Thanks for the video my husband always asks me to cook albondigas for him but I didn't know how to cook them but after seeing your video I'm going to try to cook some today hopefully they will come out good :) thanks!!
I love your video. I hope you make some more of them. I'd love to see a good recipe for Chile Colorado here. Thanks for the recipe! It sure looks good!
in the mid 70's when we were a struggling couple & there was an economic depression so the only thing my hubbie & i could afford was hamburger.. that i had to learn to cook 100 different ways... i invented a meatball soup that yrs later ...while dining at a mexican restaurant ...i learned was none other than ALBONDIGAS soup, except that mine included condensed tomato soup, shredded cabbage, diced celery & carrots but, was missing the cilantro that is crucial to a truly great Albondigas.
I love your video! My Grandma makes the albondigas by themselves and out of tuna, sometimes but this sounds so delicious! I'm anxious to make it like you :) BTW Most Latinas have their stoves like this! Pa k no se manche! LoL Thank You!!

Hi Lili - I hope you're still checking comments because I think your videos (all 3) are wonderful. Just what I've wanted; a native Mexican cook showing me step by step how to cook real Mexican! We love that food.
BTW - my dad in his younger years toured Mexico on his Harley, mostly to climb some famous mountains down there, but we grew up eating good Mexican food before most people could say the word tortilla correctly. My dad was Norwegian but he could speak and write Spanish really well.
Was very pleased with this simple yet very informative video. I found that i had to use more spices. Was happy to learn how to make delicious Albondigas. My family loved them! Thank you! D
thanks lili we make it the same way but we add cabbage but no potato,i understand about the stove,my mom was the same but only around the burners, where are you from cus you have a chicana tone when you speak
yah, i know how granny's can be ( old fashion) no worries mines the same.. i tried out your recipe and i'ma be pretty honest, its been a while since i've tasted this stuff and well i made mine a little spicey which came out pretty good.. thanks for the help.. ;-)
OMG!! I like albondigas but your recipe is really really good. My husband and kids love it.. thank you so much for making the video.. you made it really simple..thanks
@sophiahb I am living with my grandma & this is how she likes to have her stove. & no I am quite a clean person thank you. Always clean after yourself after cooking :)
@sophiahb Bitch quit hating, this recipe is good, go fuck your self, stop criticizing other peoples shit, lets see your kitchen. You probably live in a fucking trailer the size of a pick up truck :)
@sophiahb She took her time to make this video to show a lot of good people out there who does not know how to make this stuff. Try to appreciate it, if u don't like the way that stove looks, don't even bother to watch it, go somewhere else.
Thanks I'm Making It Rightnow(; Your Tutorial Helped A lot Lol i Was Clueless On How To Make Them, And i searched on how to make albondigas and your was the simplest one! :]
@XXXLuchador21XXX yup? Hahaha, dumbass redneck! Also, dumbass, Mexican should be capitalized followed by a comma instead of a period. My 6 year old knows berrer sentence sturcture than you. Hahaha, dumbass!
My husband loves this soup. Now I can suprise him and make it.
