Gemma's account appears to be hacked by Tachyon. Tachyon revealed that Gemma wasn't in London at all, and that she is working for the order. She's kind of gone underground since then. If you have kept track of all this on the lonelygirl site you would be all caught up.

the creators didn't invent the game, OpAphid and Tachyon and 1003 did. it's an ARG, which stands for Alternate Reality Game. they invented it to go along with the main LG13 storyline, but it's become so popular (and WAY more interesting than the mainplotline IMO) that the producers of the show have decided to make it officially part of the breeniverse.
