Wow.. just, wow. 70k records makes me think of Mooncruiser Records on City Island (I pretty much bought all jazz LPs there).. wish that place were still around.
The man ?uest is a bonafide scholar of music; a veritable musicologist people, I adore The Roots; they are my education and appreciation and pleasure, my very own treaure, which is how I best like my artists to be smart and talented as hell......
hey when you come to germany again in the cologne area hit me up .... i got many german or european pysch prog kraut early electronic records to sell or trade
@qoolquest just a ?...no pun intended...but...what do you listen to when you drive to point A to point B....just by yourself...just you..not ?uestLove...just you...going to eat, an erron...to buy something...pick something up...jazz / rock/ hip hop...the radio???
@qoolquest hahahaha what's it up to now? By the way this video will go down in history, you truly are a hip hop historian and need to put out more videos teaching the new kids what hip hop really is and where it came from!
Hi, Im Narayan Mcdaniels. Eugene McDaniels is my grandfather. Is there any way to get a hold of the movie ontheDL plus this additional content? Id love to see the whole thing!
Only a record collector can understand why we keep broken records anyway! LOL This is an interesting video. Oddly enough I met (their) mom and dad in the same week at different locations. Mom told me about the group, and I have been looking for the album ever since, but I thought it was GASOLINE Alley. Oops. it is CONGRESS Alley. No wonder I could not find it. Watching this makes me think twice about getting rid of teh records I never play. Hmmm?
