  • This won't work for mower seats .They are harder to cover because it can't be stretched on its a bucket.

  • Nice video man, where do you get the material?

  • @Metallica1071991 Hey thanks man... any hobby kinda place should have it... I found a Jo-Ann Fabrics here. THanks for watching!

  • Okay...I want to upholster a huge three piece corner sofa in red vinyl....couldn't figure out how to get around the corners without sewing..this video actually helps, so thanks.

I'm going to try to do it my self also :) Hope it turns out as good as yours.

  • @thepopularjock Hey thanks for watching... You'll do fine... just take your time with it, make sure you dont cut off to much, and keep the material tight.

  • This is pretty cool. I own a 1959 Cadillac. The interior has already been redone in vinyl, but my ac broke, and I live in AZ... so I decided to make some covers out of cloth. This really helped out. Thanks!

  • @puppetmaster983 Hey glad to help... thanks for watching! Man I love the 59 Cadillacs... what a beautiful car!

  • Kick ass vid, Im redoing a 85 vulcan, and the seat sux on it, but this video helped out alot. No BS, straight to the point. Thanx dude.

  • @Sneaky151 Thanks man glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!

  • appreciate the straightforward video man, other upholstery videos play around and never get to the point. Thank you. I learned a lot!

  • @bstanko6 Hey glad I could help!

  • you are the man! i was hoping i could do this...sites i've been looking at charge 125 for something you did for under $15! Niccce

  • @returnofthej Hey glad I could help...getting ready to do another here real soon.

  • Dude you used the slippery vinyl. Your ass will slip around so bad. Next time I would use the outdoor grippy vinyl. Also Boston rocks!

  • @BigManlyMan4 ...Hey thats a good idea....not really a big deal for this bike since I probably wont ride it to hard, but I'll try that out! Thanks for the tip!

  • @jfrost77hd Ive done both my XR and KX seat with the grippy vinyl and it is perfect. Ive also used that vinyl you have there, its scary ahaha.

  • What do you do if the foam is shredded? Can it be replaced as well?

  • @n2scouting2...Yeah...at most fabric shops they have blocks of foam that you can cut and shape to fit. Thats what I'm going to have to do with those old Yamaha's I just picked up. I'll have some videos of them and repairing the seat aswell.

  • Cool....its cheap and easy!

  • @jfrost77hd I did my seat and it turned out good.. I'll post some pics of my 77Qualifier soon.. Get that MX done bud, that bike is a keeper!

  • Glad it worked out good for you....yeah I had the MX all ready for a test ride, then went out the next morning and all the oil leaked out of it, always something!

  • LOL where did the oil leak from? incase you're not sure about this i'll warn you, the drain plug under the crankcase is NOT the large 16mm nut near the kickstarter, do not loosen that nut or else you will release the kickstart return spring inside the engine which means you'd have to split the cases to connect it ! not fun.. The drain plug is the smaller bolt(sometimes allen head) located near the back away from the kickstart side.

  • im rebuilding a 1983 cr250r just trying to finish the motor and ill be doing this with my sear also

  • Hey thanks bud....yeah I was jammin out in the garage tinkering around like normal, lol....you'll have to post some videos of the 77 sometime, there's only a few on here.

  • @jfrost77hd No problem bud, i'll post some pics of the bike for sure..

    take care

  • Nice job, and nice bike.. Can-am's are worth the time and effort in restoring. I'm working on restoring a 77 Can-Am Qualifier 175 that I'll be using on the trails... Bike is great shape already so I have a nice piece to start with.. My seat needs to be done also so i'll be doing this as well.. I like the tunes playing in the background... Boston rock n roll band then Ozzy shot in the dark lol

    take care
