For Israel it is VERY hard to hurt militants only and not to hurt uninvolved civilians. Israel uses very precise and very expensive ammunition in order NOT TO hurt civilians, but only to hurt HAMAS terrorists. Israel people and government are REALY sorry about every death of uninvolved Palestinians. Israel wishes no rockets will fall on it's soil so it will not need to retaliate.

Sorry, I forgot to ask, if Abraham wasn't the "first Jew', then what was he a goat? He couldn't have been Muslim because allah didn't come around for thousands of years later, and he couldn't have been Christian for the same reason. He only worshipped one God, so he couldn't be Egyption because they worshipped idols. Then please, enlighten me, what exactly was he.

Arabsys, are you kidding me? There is a beginning to everything and obviously "Rabbins" didn't come until later. If you're the "first" of something how can there be others to teach you. How can there be a Torah? The Torah was supposedly handed down to Abraham by G-d. If you want to change the bible, be my guest. Everybody has a right to think what they want. All I can say is you are outnumbered a few hundred million to one with regards to that question. By the way, what is allah?

Here's the deal. Abraham was not technically a Jew because he didn't come from the womb of a Jewish mother. His principals and those of Isaac and Jacob, however, are those on which the Jewish religion are based, i.e. one G-d, etc. In this regard Abraham is considered by Jews to be the patriarch of the religion and that he was. Since he fathered Ishmael, he may be considered the first muslim, however, that is not logical, given that mohammed did not appear until the 7th century.

I don't disagree, but technically Abraham was not Jewish although he was the "first Jew", if that makes any sense. But, whatever, as far as I'm concerned he's the patriarch of the Jewish religion.

There is no Palestine! Don't you know history? The land was occupied by the Ottoman Empire then the British took control and called it the British Mandate of Palestine. Palestine is a Greek name!!! In history it was called: Greater Israel, Greater Syria, the Holy Land, Iudaea Province, Israel, "Israel HaShlema", Kingdom of Israel, Kingdom of Jerusalem, Land of Israel, Levant, Retenu (Ancient Egyptian) just to name a few!
