yeah martinipri got the right vibe. in addition to the low call rates and the fact that the kids can learn to deal with a budget, it is also nice that tracfone offers real cheap phones, real cheap but not bad or non functional. for $10 tracfone offers a good enough phone, and the good part is, if the kids loose or destroy their phones, it is not a train smash to replace them. great plan and phones from tracfone. they definateyly have my vote

i so have to agree. this family plan from tracfone is the cheapest around. no one else offers a monthly plan for 4 for only $28 a month. i love it, and my kids are happy too. they are happy to have a phone in the first place, they are still young and now have their first phones. they are extatic about it. they will learn how to live with a budget, and when they are older they can decide for themselves if they really need a fancy phone, and they will have to pay for it themselves if they do

@martinipri Yeah it's basically the perfect solution for the big and active family on a budget. I don't know too many families that are able to send their kids running around with unlimited Blackberry plans so the tracfone pay-as-you-go system is the only way to guarantee that you don't waste a cent on any unused minutes. Plus, no complicated contracts!

nice family ad. amazingly cheap plan that. i am on the individual plan, which costs me only $9.99 a month, and i get 50 minutes aswell. to me it is for sure not the phone itself that is important, but the call rates and the reliable coverage. with tracfone i got it all. cheap phone, great nationwide cover and cheap call rates, can even make long distance and overseas calls at local rates. happy

Since we do not require a lot of minutes, the TracFone $30 family plan is the perfect fit for our family. I love having the peace of mind knowing that everyone is within reach and at such an affordable price. There's so MANY other bills that I have to worry about!

Tracfone's family plan is a life saver. I needed some phones for my kids 'cause they're at that age where they go out constantly and I want to be able to keep in touch with them and not make them stay home for fear of not being able to get ahold of them. With our new phones, they can go out often and I can have peace of mind.

@Arcticbrian1 I agree with you on that one...the kids may not though. These days it's so important to be able to stay in touch. Nothing worse than not being able to reach a loved one because they don't have or can't afford a cell phone. With Tracfone, there are no more excuses. They're very inexpensive to buy and to maintain. Great for those who don't have real heavy usage needs. It will also make a great extra or emergency phone for those unplanned events.

I think this is one of the best deals with Tracfone which is why my whole family is using it at the moment, I can't believe my family of 4's phone bill comes to $27.96 plus the kids phones only cost me $10 each. Tracfone is a true friend to the small budget brigade

Tracfone has great phones for the family plan. It is a good idea to always be in contact with the kids. So Tracfone provides a safety net for my family at a really good price. Also the minutes are more than adequate with great coverage

My family recently researched on tracfone.com and found this deal. Compared to other carriers, this "family plan" is significantly cheaper than most. The system tracfone utilizes feels just like a contract with automatic renewal and such, yet there still is no contract. Family plan features may be more extensive on other networks, but when it comes to simple talk time, tracfone has no rivals.
