  • Only John Lennon could victimize white, middle-class, men from the English-speaking world. What the fuck do we have to be afraid of? There are plenty of people in the world who have a right to complain and feel afraid; we are not some of them. Fuck John Lennon. Stop feeling bad for yourselves!

  • @robkirkner Ourselves.John knew all about double standards he lived it and hence wrote about it.His "middle class" should never be an issue as he couldn`t help that.If you think this song was wrote about everything pertaining to the news of the day. You`re a fool. It`s a reflection of ordinary people who work hard, live, struggle for the folks on the hill.Usually in Britain some overweighted aire to his fathers buisiness who neither works nor wants.Fuck Rob Kirkner.

  • Fucking amazing video,..awesome!!

  • @stoobee09 Superb!

  • Wow, love this outtake, HFS. Was his voice any better than at this exact moment. Great vid, stylish. <3

  • they hate you if youre clever, and they despise a fool; simply pure genius, simply John Lennon

  • 1 person doesn't understand the working class hero. It's so sad.

  • A working class hero is something to be.

  • Profound lyrics....A minor is a powerful chord. However...Lennon was brought up in a middle class neighborhood compared to the rest of his band mates.

  • Well done, John. You continue to inspire. However, I'm sure that you would tell me that all you're doing is conveying the truth; and you would be right.

  • The song was written 1970 !! That doesn't mean that the message has failed..His music will continue to inspire and his legacy will live on forever.

  • @VoxMax1200 This message will always be true.Simply for the reason this world isn`t like Star Trek where things are equal and no-one is greater than another. No matter what they do or achieve. The folks on the hill will always be there,it`s all scale. There`s people with nothing who think they have it all, there`s those who have it all but have nothing.Success doesn`t mean happiness. As John had shown in his extraordinary music. Fantastic and thought provoking once more my great friend.Thank you.

  • @VoxMax1200 know why? cause the fucking world, hadnt fucking changed since his times, since the barbaric period; the world has the same problems and will always have them, because man isnt intelligent enough to learn from his errors, he continues aking them; he thinks he helps the population by giving them power hrough a democracy, but in reality its just a monarchy formed by many people; jhust a big king formed of many smaller ones...

  • This day 7th February 1964 Beatlemania arrives in the US

The four members of the British hit band, the Beatles arrived in New York at the start of their first tour of the United States and changed music forever amen !

    Cool vid !!!!! ;)

  • you better fxxxxxx belive it babyx

  • @HELTERFUCKINGSKELTER ???? Not sure what you mean, Colin.. If you're talking about the boys' solo works, oh, I *know* some of them (especially Paul's)..but I don't know them as "deeply" as I know The Beatles stuff. Out of all of them, I know Paul's solo efforts the most, followed by John's..but not *everything* (obviously).

  • You know, I can't even think right now. I've got tears in my eyes. What can I say about this? Moving, touching, heartbreaking.. As you know, hon', I don't usually comment on "post Beatle" works, altho I know some of each Beatles' solo efforts. I only heard this song recently in a YT "cover", so I had to take a listen to the real thing. You have a director's eye, hon', & you infuse this with so much sensitivity & emotion, but then you're a beautiful person, so..I'd expect nothing *less*. Jo xo

  • Well Done...I love it, so creative!

  • I want to follow john

  • @HELTERFUCKINGSKELTER You are welcome... Sara :)

  • Awesome as usual,HFS!

John's most provocative song!It is hard to be a working class hero,isn`t?..

  • very moving

  • Love it....great post

  • The ending, together with the catcher in the Rye clip, was very moving..

  • i love this version of the song, i frist heard it on his anthology album :P
