Holland is the only country where amateurs are playing east european folk music like gypsy music. There are more than 50 amateur-gypsy orchstras in Holland. And temperament.... whow, come and see it!

ik heb het van een CD van Buffo uit 1992. Titel Roman Ciganydal (Roemeense zigeunerliederen) en Erdelyi Ciganydal. Geen echte titel dus.

Een Roemeense vrouw vertelde mij dat het een levenslied van een meisje is. Ieder couplet is een volgende fase in haar leven.

My, oh my, I just love that double bass player's handlebar moustache! And the 2nd violin (or is it 3rd violin) accompaniment looked as if chopping wood, no strain to hold up the violin, eh? I say this with kindly fun. Enjoyable, and want to find a lawn table & chair with some beer to happily take it all in. Nice weather too.

Wish we were. We love the music and want to play it. In Holland there are many "gypsy orchestras" with students from the universities.

In 1993 hoorde ik jullie voor t eerst in Jelsum. Frysk Csardas is naar mijn volwassen geworden in het beheersen van deze moeilijke muziekstijl. Misjto! (een goede wijn hoort ook te rijpen..etc.)
