This is NOT a factory JCW, and here are the reasons:

-It doesn't have the 4-pot JCW-Brembo front brakes, it has the previous brake kit from the Power On package.

-The exhaust tips are the Stage I ones, with the JCW logos. Factory JCW's have no logo and inside diameter is larger.

-In Spain, Factory JCW don't have the Cooper S logo, they just the JCW one

-GCB license plate means it's an early 2008 car, not even close to 2009.

Also, it's easily recognizable as a Stage I because of the equipment.

When Mini launched the JCW tuning kit, it came in 3 packages: "Power On", "Dress Up" and "Carbon Fiber".

To promote them, almost every BMW/Mini dealer got one or more identical Mini's with all the 3 packages installed and Alcantara/Leather Recaros, all of them Red with black roof and stripes .

All were/are being sold now, since the Factory JCW came out, which has never been demoed with this configuration.

@279Xander The JCW engine kit for R56 S comes w/ JCW badges on the front grille & rear boot. He didn't add these on. Maybe it seems JCW-badge overkill, but there are a ton of JCW options on that car & each has the JCW logo emblazoned on it. It's a beautiful S with practically every significant JCW option besides the front strut tower brace, engine kit, brake kit, rear spoiler, JCW steering wheel, and illuminated door sills. Can't tell if it has JCW suspension. Recaros & R109 wheels are stunning!

That's a cooper s with jcw aftermarket kit.

Jcw doesn't have cooper s badge...

this is an original JCW not a kit for the S I bought it to the factory as Mini Cooper JCW not as Mini cooper S w/ JCW kit

@csgt500 i gotta say i agree with caandry on this one. the JCW model doesn't say cooper s because it's not a cooper s. it's a JCW. the JCW badge on the front also goes on the lower radiator grille on the lefthand side. plus the exhaust also gives it away. whether you have the sport button on or not, on the JCW model there's tons of back crackle from the exhaust. in your car there is none. regardless, it's still a nice mini.

The GP is the only car ever made by MINI that had the rear seat deleted. The current JCW models have rear seats.

i love the older looks of the mini coopers ( like yours) I dont like the new ones where the back trunk opens horizantally... .those looks ugly to me. but something i do like out of the newer models of mini cooper hatchbacks are the dual pipes for exsaust in the center.

actually both the r56 cooper s and jcw have turbochargers they stopped using superchargers late 2006 when the r53 ended but no matter nice video you must be rich
