Lush is honestly by far one of my fave all time bands along with Ladytron and MBV! No one can touch these bands for sound and lyrics, espesh Deluxe, Heavenly Nobodies, All MBV, pretty much All Ladytron w/ wall of sound Destroy Everything you touch, Soft Power, Ghosts. Excellent powerful bands. Even bettah than Portishead and the Cure.
Strong Opinion. Go Grrls. Love Elastica but this kicks their butts.

I'm in Detroit and, luckily, 89X (Windsor Alt-Station across the river) played this a lot.
In fact, they stayed more ...discriminating... longer than US Alt-Rock stations did. They never bought the Creed / Staind whatever rock... They stayed true to a College / Indie vibe for awhile. Eventually, of course, they gave in and became pretty mainstream.
