this was my great great grandad's favorite song to sing when he was drunk...he was half blackfoot indian and a gambler in Louisiana and kept a derringer in his boot...I never met him but I keep this song on constant rotation...wish I had that vinyl !..propers on the video.
Hey lynch, did u know that steamhammer 100 has this very song on a german import 78? And u should also check out 2 others he's gotL 'I won't be home no more' and 'Never get out of this world alive'. Both wunderbar!!
This is one of the best Hank songs and one of the few that are not break up/Cheated on songs I may be only 17 but my music is and aways has been of the Hank and Johnny Cash variety
Back in the late 80's I stole a greatest hits 12 inch from a friend. I thought I was the coolest kid ever cuz I would listen to Hank while geting ready for a date and none of my friends knew who the hell was singing. "...dressed up in your frock of yeller..." How old is this shit and how many people have loved it forever? -Greatness- Can anyone ever beat his legacy?
excellent audio from a vintage slightly -used record !! first heard this song on 93.1 the wolf's special 5pm " Hankerin' for Hank " segment where the radio station does Sr. Jr. and the 3rd too !!!
Record are so cool. I wish people were more open about analog sound. I'm 25 and I started collecting about 2 years ago. I already have a decent collection of around 150 lp's It's really fun and find all those classics. Personally Im big into floyd and the beatles.

Another great Hank Williams song !
That he had so many big hit songs in such a short span of time, really shows what a great talent he was. Thanks for sharing this one.
