There is footage from Madison, saying that some of them are out of hand isn't slander, it's true. Then you have Rogers in Massachusetts talking about thousands of dead bodies... Earlier in the segment Violence around hte country is mentioned as well.

You can see in the top left corner "Union Protests". It did not say Wisconsin. They were showing examples of "union protests" all over the nation, including wherever this was taken, like florida or Gorgia.

If you actually watch the video, and listen to them, it just gives an example of an "out-of-town" protest not in Wisconsin.

I live in Madison, too, and as everyone else has said, there are definitely no palm trees and in fact, it just snowed some more today. Folks, little journalism 101 here: You don't reference a Madison protest and then show video from another state without identifying the video. If an editor or producer did that at a normal TV station, they would be in a lot of trouble. This is inexcusable. I'm not saying it's intentional. It probably wasn't. It's just sloppy. But it's not defendable. So I would advise not defending it. It isn't a convincing position.

It wouldn't exactly help their agenda to show an organized, respectful protest, so they instead try to convince people that instead it's a violent mess. That's harder for the public to support .

I have been in Madison, lived in Wisconsin my whole life, and there are no palm trees here, all out deciduous trees have lost their leaves, and there is snow everywhere. The protest in Madison is peaceful--we march alongside the cops.  AND most of the people there are from Wisconsin, too. Check out footage uploaded by average Joes on YouTube and you will see.
