Nice! Its such an advantage for ya, and i see your utilizing it well! So that makes your (weaker foot) your right get strong as hell playin to tunes like Achillis etc. Man I'm righty and still struggle w/ "Good Times Bad times"
Very admirable interpretation, dewds! It's not 'quite' as rare to find guitartists and drummers who can honourably throw down Page and Bonazo, as it is to find vocalists who can throw down Plant in his prime, like this cat does! (especially without tuning down an octave, or electronic voice effects - dynamite pipes!) Drums tone is totally ill! Amigo of mine is a CODA fan, and is dragging a few of us out to check you dewds on Sat. (Richmond Hill) Now that I've seen you here, I'm stoked 4 the gig
Hey really nice job! Many bands tend to play zeppelin stuff to fast and it ends up being crap,it,s hard to fill out the sound in a three piece when a solo,s playing, the drummer certainly made use of the cymbals(bonham always did the same playing live ). Great to see Paiste, being used, and miked.
On the 2nd solo I use an Ibanez DE7 echo, and a Phlanger(which is on for the whole song. The amp is a 1974 Univox(U.S. made)Bass amp, running 2x12's at 16 ohns. But I went with one 12" at 8 ohms. The amp has an ohm selector switch. The settings are full out except for the volume which is at between 6 and 7. For the overdrive sound I use a 1979 Boss distortion plus (still available) Hope you enjoyed the song and the gear set-up.
Second best version I've seen on youtube (guess the first...).
You guys are VERY tight, tough song to pull off but you did it well. Rhythm section is especially amazing. That's usually the weakness in Achilles' covers, but not here. Also, high recording values. The whole package.
Speaking of packages, I love seeing a burly guy do Plant's goofy gesturing. Solid gold!
killer ending!!
