Who here knows the most cost effective way to get a 72 skylark 350-4 with a TH350 trans, and a 2.73 rear into the low 13s? I'm all up for part swaps. i just wanna keep the original motor.

Get rid of the 2.73's. depending on your tire size. 3.73 - 3.90 is a start. step up the cam, without going over board, headers, better intake manifold, go through the heads, install larger intakes, roller rockers. That would be a good start.

the cheapest way probably would be just takin the heads and having them ported and polished that will give you a whole shit load of power
