I know I'm gonna get some flack for this, but I was offput by the banjo riff in the background. This would otherwise be a flawless cover of the song, but someone added that banjo in as if to scream "HEY, THIS IS THE COUNTRY VERSION. COUNTRY VERSION THIS IS". It just seems unnecessary. The piano and violin (fiddle?) was a really really nice touch, though.

Wayne took musical liberties that filled in the song's cracks and made it sound fuller. He sang it with much more energy and soul. Don't get me wrong, the original is still and emotional, timeless classic. It don't get much better than Daryl, but this cover did his song extreme justice. Wayne didn't even change it up that much. This falls into the "good cover" category.
