im using Standard VGA Graphics Adapter but i got intel pentuim 4 on window 7 resoliton 1280 X 1024 but how do i get window 7 aero! i fixed my resolution from being under 600x but i really want aero!!

same here i got it says 447mb usable but when i do run > dxdiag > and look at RAM it says more then 447mb it can go up to 645mb and after that it says 4970mb avalible and my graphics card is 127mb and my processer is Intel(R) Celeron(R) D CPU 3.33 GHz

Minimum specs it's stable on: 512mb ram, 500mhz cpu, 256mb ram (for Aero)

I ran these tests before, i'll have to post a video.

well you can run aero on 64 mb graphic cards if you have a 2.0 Ghz (hI highly recommen 2.4) and if you have the right software. Windows will be really slow because the processor needs to do the work for the graphics card

it's not about the video mamory alone. it's about the screen resolution you use, and the graphics chip itself. for instance, giving a GeForce 6150SE 512MB vram isn't going to help it with processing power. you're way better off with a geforce 7600GT with 256MB because it's more powerful.

@MrGAMESHELPER No, updating your driver WILL NOT work in this case. You have a video card that doesn't feature the WDDM capability that is needed for Windows Aero and DirectX 9 features. Instead, you have a graphics card that features XDDM, which cannot support Aero or Direct X 9 and causes it to score a 1.0 in Windows because the features are outdated. You may have 64MB RAM on your card, but there are other factors you must consider worrying about. I've been in your shoes before.

Without aero runs like xp + 50 mb is much faster than vista but a little bis slower than xp :)

I have a ati intrgrated video card (64mb shared memory).. but when i was running vista home premium, there was no aero effect, just the basic look and there was no option for aero in > themes.. not sure why it wasnt working..if yours ran on 64mb too

I really don't understand what is up with this computer it scores on the windows experience index better than my friends hp netbook with the gma 950 but in fullscreen youtube standard def videos run terribly and on the netbook they run just fine. My computer has 2.5 for a score and the hp netbook has 2.2 and both run 7 ultimate
