Now thats just lovely .. an amazing amount of colour nothing like lots of flowers to brighten the garden up ..i am afraid mine plants are nearly all ever green's hosta's,phormium, black bamboo etc i plant a few tubs up with cosmos and do 3 baskets for the front of the house and thats about it LOL just spend too much time on the koi ..as i rescue koi & pondfish so i am always busy with rescues ..maye this year i can spend extra time on the garden :o) may even get chnace to sit for a while LOL

thanks for your comment , i sometimes think I should have more evergreens and peranials, would make life a bit easier, but I also like to sit and watch the fish

I use the cockney Koi which is 4 bays with media and japanese matting and a vortex, carn`t beat the old methods

lovely looking fish and very big also, I only have 2 females as big as your fish but not seen them for 2 weeks as the snow and ice have frozen down my covers. your garden is very nice, looks like you have a lot of time on your hands to built a nice pond and garden and a very nice model railway

Thanks for that comment Andy, yes I retired 4 years ago after working away from home most of the time I took up these hobbies and have enjoyed doing all these things, I only moved here 4 years ago, so it`s kept me busy

Beautiful garden and great crystal clear water in the pond. I wish the water in mine was clear but its impossible in a clay lined pond full of all sorts of carp. I may install a filtered koi pond in the future just so I can see the fish, but at present I'm busy installing other peoples. Great job you've done there. Fish look very happy.
