I regularly check Autotrader and this is about the average price. Top whack you're looking at around £55K. Bottom end £30K, although you're looking at double the mileage at that point. Apparently maintaining them isn't quite as bad as you'd think according to some reviews on there.

The F355 is the last of the "classic" small Ferraris. The 360 onward is a different beast. The F355 has a fantastic sound, I saw a Challenge race when the 360 and the F355 were still competing and the F355 sounded way more exciting. It did get beaten on track the best coming in 4th behind 3 360s -- but outside of the top three places, F355s beat a bunch of 360s.

@Alexgotnicebody i don't know about that, gm's are one of the cheapest cars to work on. the f355 has a 5 valve 3.5l v8. so the engines are almost the same, sept the vette zr-1 has a 6.162l v8. the vette also does 0-60 in 3.3 sec : ). They are both nice cars.

I agree, its the one that just screams Ferrari, doesnt have all the driver aids and help me stuff of the 430 or 458, and isnt cheap looking like the 360, and the only way I would ever own it was with the gated 6 speed, no video game paddles for me, sure F1 trannys are faster and you cant possibly shift as fast as one but they are heavier and take a lot of the passion out of driving, and thats what Ferrari is all about
