  • When is Andy Russell and Mike Wagner going to the Hall of Fame?

  • and that makes an even 1000 views for me....

  • My family and I went back to my Western PA home this past Thanksgiving. We drove to Pittsburgh and we walked around Heinze Field. The highlight of the trip, for my kids, was to sit on the lap of the Art Rooney statue. My daughter said to me, 'Daddy, he looks like the pictured of your grandpa'. I was choked up for several minutes. She was right. My grandfather, a friend of Art Rooney's was much like The Chief.

  • Goose Bumps baby!

  • @TommyC503 Took the words out of my mouth.

  • Noll is one of my favorite coaches of all time. And Ham was right. He was the reason for their success. If Paterno takes that job 42 years ago (They offered it to him before Chuck), things are a lot different.

  • Best team EVER!!

  • I love both the Cowboys and Steelers in the 70's. They were both awesome teams and had awesome men on their teams. God bless them both....

  • Roger Staubach sitting behind Franco Harris at 0:57. Awesome!

  • I am a 30+ years Cowboys Fan, and this less than 5 minute video made the skin in my arms and in my neck go berserk and even though that might sound bad for some 'Boys fans, truth is that anyone who is first a football fan, can appreciate prime quality football level anywhere, anytime, from any age and savor it.

  • The greatest team of all time....I was just a kid when these guys played...I was fortunate enough to see them at three rivers stadium....There will NEVER be a dynasty like this in football again...

  • best team ever !!!!!!!!!

  • The best, I agree the rest of the team from the 70's need to be in the halll of fame! This brings tears rolling down my face, the memories are FOREVER!!!!!!!

Love Ya Steelers, from Albuquerque, but was bornand raised in New Castle, PA!!!!!!!!!!!

  • We need to start a campaign to get the best strong safety in the 70's in to the HOF ...I am talking about DONNIE SHELL!!!

  • Steelers in the 70's--best ever! Those sur were the days. So many have been passed over for the HOF, what a shame.

  • Webby!!!

  • 70's Steelers the best ever!

  • Will never forget the '70s team. They taught me football. GO STILLERS!

  • checking in from Baltimore here - hmmmm - looking around all I see in this vid is a bunch of queens.

  • @Stormcloud410 Maybe it's all that Super Bowl jewelry that's got you confused ...

  • My wife and i, married in 1969, used to stand and cheer the best plays in our living room. Franco came from my HS, RVRHS, and that is what started the passion for us. She's gone now, as are some of the team. But......in a way, they will live forever. Thanks Mr Rooney. Thanks guys. You were the greatest ever. Thanks for the memories.

  • 4:01 Look at the smug son of a bitch in the background - jealous bastard.

  • @katelynxoxo412 FUCK YOU!

  • The Steelers of the 70's were simply the best

  • I never was much of a steelers fan, but I have to admit that 70s team was the best ever. Where's L.C. Greenwood?

  • I never was much of a steelers fan, but I have to admit that 70s team was the best ever.

  • Those 2 people that dislike this great tribute, are definitely Cowboys fans!Continue your never ending cries of pain and sorrow for losing those 2 Super Bowls against the Steelers in 1976 and 1979.

  • I really enjoyed seeing all of Steelers' inducted into NFL Hall of Fame in Canton back in 2001. It just shows all of us Steelers fans the talent they had during their dynasty during the 1970s.And it all started in 1969, when Chuck Knoll was their coach and Mean Joe Greene was drafted. The rest is NFL history.

  • there is still a handfull of people from the 70s steelers who deserves to be in the hall of fame like bleier, L.C., holmes, white, shell, and russel. Maybe even wagner and edwards

  • LC belongs there too, no doubt!!

  • Cheering these guys on are some of the most cherished memories of my childhood. GO STEELERS!!!

  • This video is AMAZING! What an awesome tribute to the Steel Curtain of the 70's. Brings back so many memories of watching Steeler football with my dad as a kid. Thanks so much for this post.

  • What a great great team. Franco's Army and Gerrella Goririlas. To our sons and daughters overseas, you missed one of finest, greatestteams of all time and now we have you the finest, greatest, team and fearless people of our country. Yes, I cried to. Love to all of you, Barb from Pittsburgh

  • What a great tribute to a remarkable STEELER Team. The dynasty of the 70s will be forever in the hearts of all Steeler Fans. WELL DONE and THANKS for so many memories.

  • I really miss these guys, the times, and Pittsburgh. Going back for visits with my kids and grandchildren is a treat and great memories of my wonderful hometown and younger life. My best to the Steelers 2011. California loves you.

  • I live in philly I get so much shit for loving the steelers, my dad brainwashed me a steelers fan and i thank him everyday for it. the steelers will reign as the NFL's greatest team forever. Lets get 7 baby!!!!

  • To Having fun .... Thanks for your comment; but, as proud as I am of my Raiders, and as much as I respect the Steelers -- if you're in your 6th year of defending our country between Iraq and Afghanistan, then YOU"RE the true hero! Thanks for what you do day in and day out to defend our liberties ..... hoping you get home safely!

  • @kjonesman Those words were so moving from you that I felt more than compelled to respond. Thank You for that again, and I look forward to reuniting with my family who I will feel almost a stranger when returning home. I will see my daughters and wife, and hopefully they will love me after all this time. May you know that you made a Marine's Day more then you will Ever know/........ Being Honest, tears are flooding my keyboard right now. Thank you so much, sincerely Thank You!!!!

  • What music is this in the beginning of the film???? I LOVE IT!!!! Here we go Steelers, here we go. God, I miss watching them. Stuck here in Afghanistan, going on my 6th year here, between Iraq, and here. 32 Tough Ass Marines, battle tested and would do anything to defend our country. Raise a Toast to us, and know where we sleep nightly, hoping to come home safe and sound. God Bless you all, and long live the Marine Corps, and our Beloved Pittsburgh Steelers!!!! Get number 7 for us!!!!

  • here is food for thought, brady getting hit by jack youngblood, mean joe green, jack lambert, howie long, lawrence taylor, merlin olsen, freddie dryer, dick butkis, i would love to see all these men hit brady! I dream about it!

  • i wish tom brady had played back then! That way i could proudly watch brady get his ass kicked every week! Then again his career would be over by now if he had played back then!

  • Man those guys I love em they were the best of the best HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO!!!!!!!!

  • Beautiful video. I cant stop watching it. HERE WE GO STEELERS!

  • I grew up in Oakland, CA ... I've been a life-long Raider fan; as great as the Raiders of the 70's were, I always knew we could've been greater had it not been for one team .... those damn Steelers. So while I grew up hating the Steelers, there was always a small, tiny part of me -- the part that was a football purist, that admired them. I love Terry Bradshaw to this day; when I think of him as an announcer, I think he's kind of a modern day Don Meredith; and who can forget his HOF speech!

  • @kjonesman Funny, I felt the same way about the Raiders. I hated the Raiders, but there was always a small part of me that wanted to be part of that toughness, and sometime called the criminals of the league, the soul patrol. I would have liked that for us Steelers, and there was no better rivalry. If it wasn't for the Raiders, the Steelers would not be considered the best team ever. Those games were epic, and live on. But God I do LOVE Kenny Stabler... How is he NOT in the Hall??????

  • how many steelers went in at the same time?... Eagles fan here, I have to say this nothing but CLASS!!!!!

  • @ zereoue i know exactly what you mean it make,s me cry too. from a life long Steelers fan from over the pond in england Steelers for ever !!!!

  • .... What also makes this team immortal is that they built it thru the draft... We are still waiting for LC,Shell to be enshrined... I shut many people up by simply saying we have "our own wing in canton"... WOW !!

  • Simply "The greatest NFL team the Good Lord ever allowed to play on the gridiron...We will never see a team like them again.... zereoue I agree wholeheartedly !!!!

  • man i feel proud to be a steelers fan

  • man i feel proud to be a steelers fan

  • As a Cowboy fan that I am.......I got to give it up to the Steelers......simply the best!

  • Oh by the way goooooooooooooooooooo Steelers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Remember the days when football players had class and made us proud!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Fantastic video! I'm from Dublin, Ireland and as a big NFL fan, I'm proud of what Art Rooney did with the Steelers. What a team, what a legacy...What an underrated coach in Chuck Knoll! Why is he not celebrated more? Talked of in the same breath as Walsh, Belachick, Parcells etc? Love Franco Harris's speech at the end, "Building a Steeler wing to the Hall of Fame". And I'm not even a Steeler fan! But I have huge respect for them and their great fans.

  • here we go steelers here we go

  • hey SumnerStevens Go Fuck yourSelf Dude Really Nobdy Made Mike Webster Die, It was his Choice to do Steriods, and Also Its Sad he did not Invest His Money Wisley BEcuase His Life After Football was Horrible, WE all Miss Webster in Steeler Nation But your Jack Ass comment Is So dumb Just like any other Fucking Jack off Dude Do us all a Favor Go Fuck yourself

  • My coach asked me in elementary school. "who do you wanna be on my field?" my answer "JACK LAMBERT!" he said "every time that center delivers that ball, you ARE Jack Lambert!" I played my heart out every Friday night. And every Friday night all the way through high school in my mind my number 58 btw was sewn to a black and gold jersey and I was JACK LAMBERT for 60 minutes. I love you Jack thank you for the memories. GO STEELERS!!!!!!

  • How fortunate we all were to watch the greatest team in NFL history. Always a team with dignity and class.

  • This video gets u fired up for the next Steelers football season.

  • the problem with L.C. Greenwood, and Donnie Shell, and even Rocky Bleier is that they played for the 70's Steelers. It just isnt fair.

  • GO BROWNS? GO FUCK URSELF

  • cant believe Swann had to wait 14 years, what a joke, and i cant believe L.C Greenwood isnt in the Hall, who ever selects are fucking morons

  • @gogettajay69 AND DWIGHT WHITE

  • @gogettajay69 AND DWIGHT WHITE DONNIE SHELL

  • @gogettajay69

I totally agree with you on both statements. 14 years for Swannie to get in the HOF? And why isn't LC in the HOF? Must be political BS in the HOF selection process.

  • @gogettajay69

George Atkinson was right (Swann is soft). HOFers ALL know it..

  • @gogettajay69 Donnie Shell, too

  • 70's Steelers the best ever!!

  • We need to get LC, Shell and Dirt Dawson in there. Bettis should be first ballot.

  • The Best Team Ever, Four Super Bowl Titles in Six Years and Back to Back Titles Twice!

22 players with 4 rings and 10 hall of famers!

  • WHAT A VIDEO!!!!I love it! Francos speech over the last 60 second was amazing, goosebumps!

  • THE STEEL CURTAIN!

  • Chuck Noll never gets respect when you hear about coaches in the NFL Walsh Parcells Lombardi Chuck never even mentioned and he is the only one to win 4 Super Bowls

  • , but not ANY coach could "pick" that talent..

  • That's true christiansoldier1968 (I like

your username btw). I spoke in haste...

    there's something about people who

include "666" in their username that just

bugs me. Chuck Noll has all my respect...

a Class-Act all the way & believes in the

    fundamentals of football...solid D mixed

    with smash-mouth rushing!

  • Solid D? It was the greatest defensive unit ever assembled in the history of organized football. Ask Don Shula - I have heard him say that.

  • @dolfangirl1 the thing is that he drafted all the players from college by himself and made them into stars

  • I tell ya what - I challenge any Steelers fan who grew up with this team like I did not to watch this without crying your eyes out - great memories for me. Thank you Steelers - I love you guys.

  • there is nothing like the heros from your childhood...nothing.

  • I absolutely agree with what you said!

  • I will be making a pilgrimage to Canton when #36 is inducted in a couple of years....:D

HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO!!!

  • Wow... This is by far the best NFL video I have ever seen. Any true Steeler fan will, at least, get chills and maybe even brought to tears. Thank you for posting this!

  • DEs Dwight White* and L.C. Greenwood, S Mike Wagner, and HB Rocky Bleier for the Hall of Fame PLEASE!

  • Greatest Steelers of All Time:

    1) Joe Greene

    2) Terry Bradshaw

    3) Franco Harris

    4) Lynn Swann

    5) Jack Lambert

Sorry, folks........the HOF Steeler players from the 70's are still better than any from the current crop of Black & Gold........those were just tough, passionate football guys with a lot of character.......Roethlisberger whines like a baby every time he gets hurt........Ward cries for no reason........see what I mean ??

  • NOTHIN BUT CHILLS 2:00

  • Heres hoping Ben,Hines,Jerome and Ben will be togather in here.

  • @ohiostmarine29203 and polamlu

I truly love the Pittsburgh Steelers and the fans.

  • The Steeler Nation loves you too! GO STEELERS!!
