actually the gigantor air bubbles come from the fact that i highly doubt the artist sat there hand kneaded all the air bubbles out before they threw it on the wheel head like you would do with a smaller amount of clay. although clay can be kneaded while on the wheel by forming a large cone and then compressing it back down. ive been throwing on the wheel for about 9 years now and i still love watching other people throw! wheel work is the most relaxing thing to be involved with
hi just like to say the reason your getting air bobbles is because when you do the start the centering you use your right hand kind of wrong you use your name to center it i used to do that that did casue me to get air boubles

There is no such thing as centrifical force, there is centrifugal force and centripetal force but no centrifical.
