Despite the differences I had with the show after season 2, it's still one of the best shows ever written and made. And no doubt that it has the greatest soundtrack ever. I miss being enthralled every episode. RIP Lost.

I say "after" because its not like the last character of lost dies (presumably from old age) and then they're all suddenly in this "afterlife". This "afterlife" is just a place seemingly without time where they can be together and move on.

With every Lost DVD, there should come a little thing like in men in black and if You use it, it deletes all your memories on Lost so that you can fully enjoy it over and over again. The plot is about a group of people who have a plane accident and crash on a very mysterious island. But that's only at first, it's an excuse for what comes later. The caracters aren't only Lost on the island, but Lost in their lifes, with issues, and the island has an effect on them.
Years ago, at my home in here in Ireland, a friend of my father's was discussing something regarding a business proposition or something like that, not sure on the details. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but Losties definitely do have a certain bit of connection through all the emotions we shared in every single note of every song in every scene of every episode. The very last episode, during one of the most dramatic scenes, it was storming on the show and outside my house at the same time. There was a fantastic moment where the thunder and lightning were PERFECTLY in synch, and even though it was just tv you couldn't help but feel that something BIG was going down.

Ok, so if you didn't see my previous comment, I jumped on the LOST bandwagon late and I just finished Season 3. I told myself that, since Spring Break was coming up and Season 4 was short, I could just wait until Spring Break to watch it.

@johnlockesocks I'm with you on that one. Whilst 'Moving On' is the perfect culmination and conclusion to Lost and ends it on a perfect note, in a way that you would want your own life to come to a close, 'Parting Words' has such a stirring, building, epic power to it that kind of surmises the entire emotional journey of the show. I guess it comes down ultimately to whether its the ending that matters more or the whole journey of how they got to the end. Even then, its still hard to choose.
Is it sad that knowing I'm going to be ordering the entire collection on blu ray soon has made me more excited than I've been in months? This show changed my life and will always stay with me. <3

@TheUnnknownn That reminds me of this one theory/rumor I read about back in the middle of season 3 where someone had argued that Jacob was really Aaron from the future, he was also of course later on the man in the cabin. And that the entire story of LOST was that Aaron was basically the messiah trapped in limbo...
God I miss the theories, the debates, the ARG's ... LOST may eventually not be considered the greatest show of all time, but nothing is ever going to come close to the experience.

Greetings Lost Fans, I'm Jacob, Lost was so important to me. I 'm 20 years old now but when the show was aired I was still in school, and I lived with my mom. I remember me and mom would wait patiently for this show to come on every Wednesday. But the thing is we never ever watched any show, honestly we never watched tv together but nothing has put us together like this show has, we was amazed every Wednesday, and I like to think this show for that . I think Lost was a part of our lives and not just being it was on a tv. we are people to and things like that can happen. Might sound outrages but it's not. So then it'd make us think what would happen if that happened to you or me or just anyone. They did a very good job of it all. I liked Sawyers personality kept me laughing and hurley too! and the rest along with them ! don't worry if someone says get a life. You did get a life and have a life , but now we are , well... lost. &crying ;)

Watched the whole series. Watching it all over again.
I mean, it's definitely not as creative and mind-boggling as LOST, but it's my second favorite show. Maybe even a close tie with LOST
So, I would suggest you giving it a try. It's a pretty great show.

Watch it again, and again!. I requested the DVD's for Christmas..."used on Amazon would be fine". Glad they're not LP's or I'd have worn them out! N*flix has all for streaming...Thats where I first started watching.

Ok, so if you didn't see my previous comment, I jumped on the LOST bandwagon late and I just finished Season 3. I told myself that, since Spring Break was coming up and Season 4 was short, I could just wait until Spring Break to watch it.

@johnlockesocks I'm with you on that one. Whilst 'Moving On' is the perfect culmination and conclusion to Lost and ends it on a perfect note, in a way that you would want your own life to come to a close, 'Parting Words' has such a stirring, building, epic power to it that kind of surmises the entire emotional journey of the show. I guess it comes down ultimately to whether its the ending that matters more or the whole journey of how they got to the end. Even then, its still hard to choose.

@TheUnnknownn That reminds me of this one theory/rumor I read about back in the middle of season 3 where someone had argued that Jacob was really Aaron from the future, he was also of course later on the man in the cabin. And that the entire story of LOST was that Aaron was basically the messiah trapped in limbo...
God I miss the theories, the debates, the ARG's ... LOST may eventually not be considered the greatest show of all time, but nothing is ever going to come close to the experience.

@kappazim You summed it up perfectly, Lost was more than just a TV show, discussing and thinking about it was just as rewarding as watching the show itself. I also don't think I'll ever be more attached to characters on a TV show than I was with Lost.

Greetings Lost Fans, I'm Jacob, Lost was so important to me. I 'm 20 years old now but when the show was aired I was still in school, and I lived with my mom. I remember me and mom would wait patiently for this show to come on every Wednesday. But the thing is we never ever watched any show, honestly we never watched tv together but nothing has put us together like this show has, we was amazed every Wednesday, and I like to think this show for that . Thx Lost and farewell lost fans.

what a great show this was ... not sure about the way it ended entirely, but what a great ride ... forgot how much I missed it ... just never knowing from week to week what was going to happen ... never followed a show as closely.

I am having withdraws from not watching lost in 1 day. Even though its over i still want to watch it, now i want to watch season 1-6 over and over. Everyone get a petition and have people sign it and if we get enough maybe they will renew lost for 1 more season. lol

I think Lost was a part of our lives and not just being it was on a tv. we are people to and things like that can happen. Might sound outrages but it's not. So then it'd make us think what would happen if that happened to you or me or just anyone. They did a very good job of it all. I liked Sawyers personality kept me laughing and hurley too! and the rest along with them ! don't worry if someone says get a life. You did get a life and have a life , but now we are , well... lost. &crying ;)
