  • @urbanflyguide not really, mushmouth uses a soft glue that penetrates the wing and tail, there's a video on here somewhere of dave tying it

    this is much a sparser and lighter fly

  • That is a great pattern. I think that I am going to tie a variant for the rivers here in SW Michigan for Smallmouth. Yellows and Greens should work for a perch imitation. Thanks for the pattern. Keep up the great work!

  • Awesome fly, thanks for the video. Who makes those eyes and where can we get them? They look way more realistic than most others I've seen / used!

  • great vid!! i tied the fly while watching this video

  • Great vid! Thanks for sharing. Have you tried using the wader repair cement instead of the epoxy glue? The type you get to set with an UV light? Really works so good and sets much quicker! Again thanks! 5*

  • I have the same material as you.

    I cannot tame the angel hair - mine is unkempt looking;

    Also, I can't get the material to come out that long - there is no way I can double the material over and get the fly that long.

    Any tips?

  • fantastic looking fly thanks for sharing the pattern
