If he was saying anything for the industry, he definitley would have had a much more positive review. He is happy to accept free games and out of courtesy, reviews them also. This review was not showering the games praises. Pete isn't being out of character at all, from what I can tell anyway! Nothing to worry about :P

This was a very good review. I just don't like the reference to "waggle controls." It is the Wii. I like the Wii and I love the controllers. "Motion control" is a more proper name for it. The Wii is the last of throwback consoles and the graphics are not bad. The Wii is a unique console and my favorite of all time. All reviewers seem to have a preordained negative conotation towards the Wii's graphics and controllers as if it's bad. There are kids out there who only know Wii controllers.
@TheFlyingDutchman39 I prefer the wii aswell, and I have the other next gen consoles aswell. The game are a lot more unique on the console and things that I don't think i'd ever see on another console. Plus motion controls can be misused but then again so can non motion controls.
Pete I understand why your reviewing this , I just wish you would stick to showing us games that you enjoy i dont think you would have done a video on this under different circumstances. no hate here just voicing my concerns, I look forward to seeing your next videos. Take care.

Great review Pete. Normally i would never consider buying a game like this. But seeing as it looks decent. Especially compared to the other console versions. Then i might pick it up some day when it drops in price and i have nothing better to do :-)

Got the 360 version for rent from Lovefilm and its your typical hack 'n slash action/adventure game also. This looks interesting though but wouldn't waste £35 to £40 for it and will rent it at best if I wanted to try it out.
It's cool that gaming companies/publishers are starting to recognize you as a good reviewer, and send you games to review! More video content for us, more games for you to review/play/showcase and the publishers reach a bigger audience! A win-win situation, isn't it.

It's a shame there are VERY few good movie games, but let's be honest....how many different ideas could one come up for, for a game about Thor? I actually think that what Pete is doing is great for Sega. This is free advertisement. Even if he thought the game wasn't very good, it beats Sega spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on air time for a few crummy commercials. @GradientGhoul I'm hearing Wii - Metacritic has most of the wii reviews in the 50-75 range, while the next gen ones are in the.. 20-50 range. Some mentioned the next gen version being the WORST GAME OF THE YEAR@!
Great job on the review pete, I really like your review in how you gave the game its pro's and negatives. Most people would just say waggle suck, camera is horrendous, and its a god of war clone. I now have a good feeling and how the game is going to be and I will probably pick it up at a lower price :)

For me, it would be Dark Souls or Etrian Odyssey 4 if they're ever released. But I'm wrong in the assumption that none of Pete's fans would like Thor so I apologise. i personally really appreciate petedorr giving his honest opinion on games and reviews. I'm really glad he reviewed this game and gave it bad rating. He's definably the most knowledgeable person i know about video games. I bought mushroom men because of him, which was a really great game. To be honest i was a bit afraid he would review only games he liked, it's really refression to hear an unbiased review on different games.

You review was more positive than most I've read. The critics are absolutely panning this game, but to be fair, it doesn't look all that bad. I wouldn't pay full price for it, but I can see myself enjoying it as a budget title to enjoy on a rainy weekend.

I think the reviews need to be snappier & more focused, lost interest quickly

It's cool that gaming companies/publishers are starting to recognize you as a good reviewer, and send you games to review! More video content for us, more games for you to review/play/showcase and the publishers reach a bigger audience! A win-win situation, isn't it.

I think Pete's a really cool person for giving his honest opinions (as a review should be), and not be bribed with a fairly large amount of money to praise the game.

I enjoy your reviews Pete, even though this game is subpar, you did find some unique qualities in it. It's a shame there are VERY few good movie games, but let's be honest....how many different ideas could one come up for, for a game about Thor? It's going to be another third person GOW ripoff, Hope SEGA enjoys your review man, keep it up!

The only reason this game was even made was so that they could squeeze out even more money from the Thor movie.
Quickly produced. Poorly produced. Shouldn't waste your time on these types of games because I know the "real" Pete would not have touched this.

I actually think that what Pete is doing is great for Sega. This is free advertisement. Even if he thought the game wasn't very good, it beats Sega spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on air time for a few crummy commercials. I'd be willing to bet that lots of people who saw this video will actually buy the game, solely because the video brought the idea of buying the game to their attention. Does anyone here understand basic marketing principles lol

@GradientGhoul I'm hearing Wii - Metacritic has most of the wii reviews in the 50-75 range, while the next gen ones are in the.. 20-50 range. Some mentioned the next gen version being the WORST GAME OF THE YEAR@!

Great job on the review pete, I really like your review in how you gave the game its pro's and negatives. Most people would just say waggle suck, camera is horrendous, and its a god of war clone. I now have a good feeling and how the game is going to be and I will probably pick it up at a lower price :)

@redbuck82 I agree. I was simply saying that his fans would like to see Pete review games that they're likely going to be interested in. For me, it would be Dark Souls or Etrian Odyssey 4 if they're ever released. But I'm wrong in the assumption that none of Pete's fans would like Thor so I apologise. I wasn't having a shot at Pete so I hope he didn't get the wrong idea.

i personally really appreciate petedorr giving his honest opinion on games and reviews. I'm really glad he reviewed this game and gave it bad rating. He's definably the most knowledgeable person i know about video games. I bought mushroom men because of him, which was a really great game. To be honest i was a bit afraid he would review only games he liked, it's really refression to hear an unbiased review on different games.

You review was more positive than most I've read. The critics are absolutely panning this game, but to be fair, it doesn't look all that bad. I wouldn't pay full price for it, but I can see myself enjoying it as a budget title to enjoy on a rainy weekend.
