very well done track man. i have a question. do you improvise with sounds, like hitting keys until they sound good, or do you have something in your head in which you write. hard to explain..... well done tho.
@OzBoomBap86 Basically i find a nice sound and from there i just improvise. Its hard to explain. But when i found a good sound i just hit the record button and start improvising. After that i select the parts that are potentially useful to build on i start editing in the piano roll.
@xRuFFZx nice one, my other question about omnisphere. i wanna buy it, but i wanna know how much i have to up grade my computer, because apparently its quite a large software. Also, with layering like this, do you set it as a multi channel instrument? or do u have to open 10 instances of omnisphere - which would drain cpu. how do you do it?
i would think recording one sound, and then recording it in as audio. then loading another sound might be the way to go?
@OzBoomBap86 So far my imac never had problems running 10 or more instances of Omnisphere. Just make sure u update omnisphere to the latest patches for maximum performance. Omnisphere is very large ... but thats just the sound library. One preset can be like 500mb, but omnisphere is very efficient when it comes to CPU load. Well at least thats my experience. Im running a Dual cor2.93Ghz with 4GB of RAM.
Just make sure u have an external sound card. Makes a lot of difference !
@escillon1 Thanks ! I feel its true when under influence of alcohol somehow the creativity comes out faster then being sober. But ... i dont think its healthy to use booze to release more creativity :P I noticed on my self when i had a good day and had a lot of fun it works the same way as booze :) Living good is a good source for inspiration .
