I was raised in church and lived a lifetime. Now I am older and I know there was never any other truth. I heard it from the begining yet followed others thinking it was my own way. Nah what is true was and is still true God is real and Jesus came in the flesh died and rose again all else was just a wast of time.

I remembered one of my churchmates posted the lyrics of this song to our group wall. It made the whole group like "Dude, stand strong!" and "Is that a mountain of inferiority?"

This sounds like the church I was recently asked to leave. The assistant pastor was the worst of all. So dicouraging to have lost my best friend and have my entire church think I had something to do with it and kick me out. And on top of that have my entire family ask me not to come around anymore or talk to them. I've always thought a church should lift you up in your time of need but all they've done is lie about me and say horrible things to me. So hard to stay close to God in this time.

The Lord said for us to go out into the world to reach His children. I love this song for it i so very true. I have felt like an outcast in a church full of "saints". I left and God blessed me with a church home.

@Burrigita its really sad when a church is pretty on the outside but the people inside are empty and un-welcoming... i really encourage you to find a church you feel for because not one church is for everyone. Although its all about Jesus and the bible, the people and enviroment around are really important.

@lacielo9 Honestly, very few, but that shouldn't diminish the sacredness of the building or the dignity of the people in it. Regardless of whether or not they act like it, the people in the pews are children of God, and deserve to be respected as such. As soon as they see true, authentic Christianity, Christianity that is not imposing or dominating or stifling, they'll be forced to respond. Christianity brings people to life, abundant life. Live abundantly, it the best witness you could do.

I was raised in church and lived a lifetime. Now I am older and I know there was never any other truth. I heard it from the begining yet followed others thinking it was my own way. Nah what is true was and is still true God is real and Jesus came in the flesh died and rose again all else was just a wast of time.
Ran into a real person and found this music. It is beautiful. Sorry I ever spent time away... Stay with what you know you never regret it.

i see a few comments that are a little "adverse." casting crowns is a christian band that advocates the Bible and Christ. the principals, whether they are found in other religions, are bible based and the theme is to go christ. that, ina nutshell, is the gist of all christian music. ofcourse there are different aspects, but thats the overall blessed message

I have listened to this song about 10 times today, u can see my other comment from earlier. Such a good.... and true song! It somewhat described my life, before I was saved. And I have a revival soon, and I will be word dancing to the beginning of the song. Kinda hard for me to do it, considering im a guy, but I know God will appreciate it, wish me luck guys and gals!

I remembered one of my churchmates posted the lyrics of this song to our group wall. It made the whole group like "Dude, stand strong!" and "Is that a mountain of inferiority?"
I asked him for like three days after that and he replied, "That song has a deeper meaning and its message is true. Some people are like those who are described in the song."
And I came to think about it... It was definitely true, and that attitude will crash the unity among us.

This sounds like the church I was recently asked to leave. The assistant pastor was the worst of all. So dicouraging to have lost my best friend and have my entire church think I had something to do with it and kick me out. And on top of that have my entire family ask me not to come around anymore or talk to them. I've always thought a church should lift you up in your time of need but all they've done is lie about me and say horrible things to me. So hard to stay close to God in this time.

Listening to this song, it really reminds me how many people come to church wanting comfort, and are rejected because the Church doesn't want anything to do with them. Some one breaks into my house and has a knife to my daughters throat, I fight him/her off and in that fight they are killed. Do I feel guilty for killing them? Nope I did what was right. Guilty conscience is drummed into us by society not god. And not evolution is fact/theory not speculation. Evolution has nothing to do with where the the first thing came from.

And of course I can point you to some great sites or videos on evolution. Do you think at 500 characters at a shot it's reasonable to explain evolution on here? Seeing as there are tens of thousands if not hundreds or millions of pages of research ?

If christians kept their views to themselves and with other christians there wouldn't be arguments but nope you just have to push your views. And that is why I say what I do, and why other atheists do as well.

Reasons why god does not exist A) total absence from from natural events, No sig of a god before, during or after natural events. B)The total absence of favoritism towards believers. Even church steeples need lightning rods for protection against god.C) The absence of any reaction, when crimes are committed in his name. D) The suffering of the innocent.D) Why is human birth beset with more pain and mishaps as any animal ? Aren`t we his masterpiece ?

@lizazoon A) No significant evidence He is "not present", but rather only those who choose to believe in God can attest to His existence B) Faith in God is experiential. Therefore, when we believe can we attest to our experience. C) We are not pupets to be controlled but rather given freedom of choice. God is saying "Follow me", without pretence but from our own free will. D) All things come to an end. And when we die we have to give an answer to the life we lived.

D) Suffering is the result of free will. We have free will, people choose to do evil, evil leads to people suffering. Also, a lot of times suffering builds character. Also, no one is innocent; we all do bad things. I'm sure you can agree with that.
A) An absence from natural events? Please tell me how non-life can turn into life. It's not possible.
C) Believe me, there will be.There's going to be a final judgement, when everyone will have to take account for their actions.

Somewhere back in time slime decided to clime out of the slime pool and become a living batch of amino acids (proteins). Then those proteins decided to become a living organism. Got tired of being a one cell called all of its one cell friends together and became a fish, fish became amphibian, amphibian became mammal, then a monkey, then man. Or there is creator. C) God doesn't do that alot, but He has for the Jews.. They're the apple of His eye and the ones He used to send the Messiah to this Earth (Jesus was a Jew). Ever wonder how the tiny nation of Israel has stayed around for so long? And how the Jews have survived so much perscecution? Also, Christianity has faced so much persecution throughout the ages, how could it have survived without the help of God?

@lizazoon A) In Revelation 2000 yrs ago god said there would be Earth quakes, Chile and Haiti are 2 major ones yet there are more and more that arent major but still happen all over the world. B) God punished all people to have imperfect lives because Adam and Eve chose to disobey him. He also punished Women to have pain in labor and other things like that.C) God does react your just to hard headed to notice.

@lacielo9 Honestly, very few, but that shouldn't diminish the sacredness of the building or the dignity of the people in it. Regardless of whether or not they act like it, the people in the pews are children of God, and deserve to be respected as such. As soon as they see true, authentic Christianity, Christianity that is not imposing or dominating or stifling, they'll be forced to respond. Christianity brings people to life, abundant life. Live abundantly, it the best witness you could do.

Were all afraid of what will happen so with a mask of shame we walk around like nothings wrong and then lie about our religion i agree that we hide behind a mask and its true. God please forgive us. Let us go out and spread the word no matter what happens. If we die spreading the word of God so be it. At least we would die in his name than for no reason at all.
