For the sake of argument; why is he a genius? Cause he doesn't use a pick or because he plays in an unorthodox fashion? He's playing stairway to heaven w/o a pick big deal.
He's probably referring to his jazz styling and technique that reaches far beyond just this video with very few people knowing who he is in the likes of alot lesser guitar players.
@bentnosewp His genius lies in his ability to play both rhythm and lead guitar parts at the same time, to say nothing of playing 2 instruments at once. He has also taken a difficult classic and made it his own. Not exactly elementary. I hope this explains it for you.
