  • I know one of his offspring - he is the most beautiful stallion I have ever met, and the calmest and nicest - I did a summer camp at the place where he is kept - his name is Accent on Magnum, but we call him Magnum for short :D I got to give him a treat :3

  • Anyone who thinks hes ugly knows nothing about this breed, and if you want stocky get a QH. A chunky arab would never survive the desert. They are first and foremost a desert horse, fine and strong and beautiful

  • I own one of the older version of Arabian. She is now 30 and is a stocky built Arabian. Today's have gone to commercial!

  • @thunder8762 I agree, trying to find a good USING horse now is hard, all the 'big arab people' that I've encountered lately only care about the damn money. They dont give a shit about the horses or other people. They dont breed horses, they breed 'living art' as they call it, forgetting that its actually an animal, not an object.

Im tired of these sorts of people that only care about my money and the next big fad. Their ruining the breed I fell in love with as a toddler. Love the stocky horses.

  • I think this animal is beautiful, I mean yes this breed has been "re-created" but they use methods to actually make the neck longer. The clean throat latch area and the long bridle path are methods to make them look longer. My friend breeds and shows miniature horses, which are basically mini arabs so i know some methods that trick the eye. Don't be so negative about this horse!!!!!

  • yuck

  • That person should watch this video of the 2010 arabian championships... they will see it is absolutely the standard for the arabian except there is a strain that is smaller and more compact... crabbetts. See.. Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show 2010

  • Seriously, the person that said the horse had too long of a neck should research arabian history, they were bred for a longer neck, didn't they read King of the Wind? I think he's gorgeous and anymore they are mostly for show anyhow, so why not perfect beauty since the age of horses being functional is disappearing rapidly. I'd rather see them kept for beauty than disappearing entirely off the face of the planet.

  • hildago face secretariat body

  • What's that song? Thank:)

  • Wow there are a lot of negative comments comments on here from people who I'm sorry are showing ignorance of the bred. His head is not long it's very true to the bred, His back is not long it is his hip that is so long which is a very desirable trait. His neck is amazingly long which can not be altered as for his throat latch being so clean I can guarantee you he has spent a lot of conditioning time in a neck sweat as has any other stallion competing on the show circuit. He is stunning Period!

  • No doubt this horse would be MUCH more attractive in a more natural pose. That said, he looks like a cross between an Arab and an American Saddlebred, or a light harness breed. ('If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck... )

  • I am sorry, but this is a prime example of man interfering to much. This horse is not normalMuch to refined. Almost at the point of not being an Arabian at all. When will human beings leave well enough alone? The Arabian is an old and beautiful breed. I am not sure what the heck this is! That neck! Not Arabiam at all. Back is far to long, It's the E.T. of Arabians! Why are they intent on "inproving a breed", when there was nothing wrong to begin with?

  • I have an Arab mare out of Magnum Psyche, I consider her to be the best Arab I get to work with. She is very responsive and calm. She loves to be ridden, I do endurance riding with her. She is an AMAZING mountain horse. We have gotten lost in the mountains once before and we had to cross some pretty scary terrain and huge deadfall and she did all of it.

  • well he looks perfectly find to me. i love him, i think he is a one gorgeous horse but two favourite arabian celebrities are HuckleBerry Bey and Magnum Chall. and now thoughs two are the real beauties of the arabian world. but i do love Magnum Psyche.

  • that neck is clearly unnatural

    shame on his owners

  • bah! ugly swan

  • Well, here's my two cents worth. The Arabian horse halter business is strictly political. Strictly dishonest. What with cosmetic throat latch lifts, tattooing around the eyes, gingering, abusive training etc. please tell me how the REAL desert bred Arabian horse has a chance in purgatory to win anything when you are up against trainers who have mega dollars to create, alter the physical confirmation of the Arabian horse and much, much more. It's a disgrace!!! Just Saying.

  • My friend have one of his direct offsprings! She's amazing and rules the competitions ! :D Pucciniox.se - bildgalleri - Blazer Magnifiqa :D

  • did u guys know that the people that own him had people give plasic surgery on his neck? but i still love him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • He is a beautiful horse. In my opinion the Arab is the most elegant of all horse breeds. Seems some people can't recognize beauty and grace.

  • to isagp14,,,Ive shown dogs for 30 yrs..didnt know runnimg around looking pretty was a job..LOL..springers were bred to hunt

  • I agree, he looks like a giraffe. Im not an arabian horse person but nevertheness still a horse person. They are ruining that breed just like they did the quarter horse. Looks like the locke ness monster. Hes so slight Id be afraid he would break if you tried to ride "it".

  • So many nasty comments about this beautiful stallion. Surgery etc has nothing to do with it...he's still gorgeous.

  • I love arabians, and since I can remember I have arabians. But for my taste he looks to exaggerated....

  • what stud owns him

  • one. word.... WOW

  • wunder schön <3

  • i love arabians! <3 They are our present day unicorns (:

  • Long beautiful neck!

  • wow ,awesome horses,i wish i had one, there very bueatiful and the offspring baby is so cute, lol :)

  • que lindo ,,es este animal..no podria decircese animal ..por que es tan lindo ,,si lo miras es uno mas de apreciar lo que el mundo nos da ...me fascina los cabalos

  • He is insanely beautiful and his conformation is recognized as outstanding in

the world, not the usual 'type', rare indeed. He has a sweet face. Love.

  • @DARKBUTTERFLYSPELL I don't see how his conformation is that great other than for being led around a show ring... Can he do other things too? Like endurance or something else that requires athleticism? No, those dainty bones and too long of a back would snap. Arabians are supposed to be tough, with deeper heart(bigger bodies), short backs, better bone substance and more of a compact build. He has none of that.

He has a long neck with an arch, but its surgically altered and has no muscle tone.

  • @Flyingfudgemuffins if you look at his dam Fancy Miracle, she has the same long beautiful neck , you are entitled to your opinion but no need to diss an animal-it shows lack of compassion and mean spiritedness.

  • @Flyingfudgemuffins if you look at his dam Fancy Miracle, she has the same long beautiful neck , you are entitled to your opinion but no need to diss an animal-it shows lack of compassion and mean spiritedness.

I have to agree with the other posters, if you do not like this horse than go complain somewhere else!!!

  • @DARKBUTTERFLYSPELL Yes, Exactly, it all comes down to genetics, except when plastic surgery is involved. Although I agree, those fools at midwest did breed for giraffe-necks. Nothing you have said changes the fact that MP is a poor representation of arabian horses. I wouldn't have to 'diss' him if people weren't so keen on destroying everything the bedouins bred for. 'Lack of compassion?'So your resorting to that now? And way to contradict yourself there. I might die laughing!

  • normalerweise mag ich araber nicht vom körperbau her, aber dieses pferde die du ausgesucht hast strahlen so eine eleganz aus :D

  • I think it is the first video by One true Media talking nice about the Arabs... and most of the videos are shitty false picture about the arabs

  • Seriously, why are you people into this horse? I'm still learning about conformation, but his faults are glaringly obvious. He's in no way unattractive (no horse is ugly, that is a bloody fact!) but his neck is just way too long, along with his back, no substance to speak of, and where his head and neck meet looks extremely odd... Arabians are not supposed to be built like this!

  • @RevanMahariel - Granted, Arabs are supposed to have long necks, shaped 'like a palm branch' with a graceful arch, including the 'mitbah' where the head meets the neck. This horse has been 'sculpted' and taught to pose (kinda like a body builder), but he still looks like an Arab-Saddlebred cross. And his head is way too long for a traditional Arab... Sigh.

  • @RevanMahariel That would be because he had surgery on it to make it "look better" :(

  • I own one of his offspring :D She's amazing !

  • i really like him

  • its hard to belive that he's real...the most beautiful God's creature!

  • i love arabian horses because they are so cute!

  • Would you guys stop? Why are you watching this video if all you're going to do is put the horse down? I think that he's beautiful, and would appreciate it if you could complain somewhere else. :)

  • @horsesrmylife78 Because trying to save the breed is worth your annoyance. I LOVE arabians, and its heartbreaking to see halter fads destroying the breed by creating an 'ideal' that doesn't even represent the breeds characteristics. He might have a nice neck, but that back is WAY to long. Arabians are supposed to be compact with substantial bone structure and substance. It also creates the sterotype that arabs are useless other than for looking pretty. arabs are ATHLETES first and foremost.

  • @Flyingfudgemuffins True. I think that maybe they should come up with a new name for this type of horse, to make it its own breed. That, I think, would end the fighting over it. I love Arabians, and would hate it if they were known as useless dolls.

  • @Flyingfudgemuffins

Thanks, that is, what I think as I see pictures from Arabian Horses from the Past and Today.

In past arabs was breed for a hart live, nice, but first Athletes, better than other breeds- thats why they have become so important for horsebreeding in the hole world.

    But Today...

this Horse IS beautiful - in Fact you want a Show-Doll or a Fairytale-figure, not for real performance.

sorry for my language- I hope, you can understand me.

  • Somebody told me today that this beautiful horse Magnum Psyche was so pumped up with bad supplements and in suck a fake way and very unhealthly.. I see that He looks great!!!! I didlike when people put such a beutifu lshow horse down....

  • Everything done to horses like this example is for the vanity of the people who own them so that they can win more and more prizes. Artificial, ugly and thoroughly distasteful. Selective breedings goes no with dogs as well. The old type of Arab was as tough as old boots not like these poor, delicate creatures.

  • Im not a fan of the 'new type' of arab. I much prefer the old traditional trype- they have alot more substance and can carry a man without you worrying about their legs snapping in half. This new type just seems fake to me, and its sad because the arab is such a beautiful breed :/

  • This horse is absolutely gorgeous. I've actually ridden his sister!

  • I seriously wonder why these surgically altered horses are so famous. First of all, beduin tribes didn't breed for beauty, they bred for the ability to run for mile after mile. The traits these horses had were strong legs, short and strong backs and large barrels that allowed maximum expansion of lungs. So why are we breeding these saddlebred 'arabians'? Secondly, Magnum Psyche and 7 others were surgically altered. One horse had its eyeball tattooed because whites were showing. Now its blind.

  • @TEHFUZZEHONEZ you are correct that they bred their horses for endurance, but they also bred for beauty and brains.

  • I Have worked with Arabians all my life and owned them. Right now Midwest training center has the best lines. He treats all of these 4 legged beauties as part of him family. His little girls ride all the horses. They are meant to be slick like a Siberian Husky is meant to be.So they can travel across the desert. Tom Chauncey was the best, now David is working with Oak Ridge Arabians to perfect their lines. Someday I will own a Fausto baby.Midwest ran away with all the awards at Scottsdale 2011.

  • looks realy unnatural

  • thats a result of mankinds selective breeding - poor thing looks like a swan!

  • soooooooooo ugly -.- thats not a horse! thats animal abuse -.-

  • @BlueTrail93 @sk3lt0n idiots, thats a natural property in the arabian horse, in its genetic man, but sometimes in show horses you might see it "bit" extreme because of selective breading for that special genetic character, but after all its natural to the horse.

  • Ewh. What a skinney long weird neck and big head. And I hate when they totally clip everything down and grease em up. :/

  • Horses that have been SURGICALLY ALTERED should NOT be allowed to SHOW.

Especially when his TRAINER, ADMITTED to the allegations, and was SUSPENDED for YEARS as a RESULT.

  • My friend own one of his offsprings ;)

  • I love arabians but somehow this one just seems way too over the top, too much of everything, curves, long neck, should be more compact. I agree with comments about looking like a girraffe, it's not natural looking , do they breed them for too much of certain characteristics.

  • I love arabians but somehow this one just seems way too over the top, too much of everything, curves, long neck, real arabians are more compact. I agree with comments about looking like a girraffe, it's not natural looking , do they breed them for too much of certain characteristics.

  • No other breed challenges the incredibly awesome Arabian, it's why the Arab has been used to improve every other breed that has anything resembling good looks.

  • I don't care what anyone says... This is by far the most gorgeous stallion I have ever seen... I only wish that I could have him pair up with my egyptian arabian mare.. Deffinitly my dream stallion far none. :)

  • l think arabian's are unbelievably stunning!!!!!!!!!

  • 0:22 makes this horse look like a victim of famine not a top class show horse. He looks like the lovechild of a giraffe and a seahorse put through a friggin steamroller. I just do not rate this horse he's hideous and wrong. I liked Padron, but this thing is freakish. Give me Enzo any day over this freak of nature.

  • waaay to much show gloss!!!

  • wow this horse is so beautyful.

  • bellissimo e poi questo colore sauro ciliegia stupendo!

  • why does everybody think this horse is sooooo beautiful?

he has such a creepy head and neck and they let him pose weird, unhorslike let's say

  • @ytapple16 it`s arabian horse, these head and neck are desirable, the same body position.

  • il est magnifique!!!!

  • when it shows his offspring at 2:17, I am riding and showing that horse today!!! shes frikin AMAZING!!!! I will have videos posted of her soon(:

  • i dont like his name, he deserves a much stronger name....

  • wonderful video !

  • Iz hypnotized

  • @RamiMalekStalker well I mean I guess I like them I just dont like some things about them. Yeah I guess if you look at them they are magnificant in their own way.

  • im sorry i love all horses but i just dont like this breed.

  • @calicocallie12 just to say... everyone is entitled to like or dislike anything they wish... I am glad that you have your own breed you like... What is your preference in breed? My absolutle favorites are Lusitano's and Egyptian Arabians :)

  • @fowlerpower2009 well i like Quarter Horses my first horse was a quarter horse and i did speed with her.....she was a champion horse she won everything (: and did everything i told her to (: she was the best horse in the world.....and now i have a pinto horse (: but pintos and quarter horses are my favorite there amazing creatures

  • @calicocallie12 I do agree that quarter horses are pretty awsome. My first horse was also a quarter horse, we had to sell him as we moved out of the country. Then my second horse was an Egyptian Arabian filly... I have had her now for almost 9 years, and now this breed is all I can think about... I think when you find that one breed that really pertains to you, you grow that unbreakable bond with them, just like anything else, make of vehicle... so on and so forth :)

  • I don't like that kind of breeding... sorry. It's look like the arabian are only good for the show ! And that nose... i wonder if they can really breath well enough. Sorry, but it's not natural to me.

  • @chrishurricane73 If you google the history of Egyptian Arabian horses, the reason why they are built like that is for the desert, they need large nostrils to get as much air as possible, the dish helps with the air flow kind of like a car.. with cool air intake lol and large ears to hear like deer to hear predators. Although I do have to say that todays egyptian arabians are a little bit more exagerated in their appereance... that is through selective breeding.. but so are many other breeds :)

  • pure perfection....i love you magnum psyche

  • greatest stallion ever

  • perfection

  • lol wtf why would someone say something bad about this horse its obviously been cultured to perfection in its breed and whoever the owner is lucky! i mustsay the arab breed in general sometimes seems to me they have a lil kink in the top of their neck but it gives them that elegant proud look. their features are so defined.. gorgeous!

  • This Arabian is beautiful. The neck may be to long but still. The face is not dished at all.I ride at a training center just with Arabians. Magnum is gorgeous. So people who dish magnum should be ashamed and to keep their comments to them selves. So if you think you can just go dish on someones horse which i need say no more champion horse go take your sarcasm some ware else ware someone cares. MAGNUM YOUR BEAUTIFUL. Go for the GOLD <3

  • What a very beautiful horse!

Beautiful mane, head, color, everything! i have never seen such horse with great quality!

    I'm amazed by this horse!

Terrific job with this horse! =)

  • i'am egyption man & i'm soooooooo proud of the arabian horse it's apart of our culture. viva arabian horse

  • Personally i think Magnum Psyche is very ugly! That face is too dished.

  • you know it's funny..i saw magnum in real life in argentina a couple of months ago and his face does not look very dishy in real life...these halter fads in my opinion have ruined the arabian..all these shit of sweating necks, shaving and keeping them locked up is soooo idiotic..these boggs followerss have turned magnificent athletes into drag queens that look like they should be in a gay nightlcub

  • @isagp419 Totally agree!

  • @isagp419

I agree, I hate the stupid faddy horses like this, Much prefer my polish/crabbet bred filly i bought this spring. She has an amazing head and will be a huge endurance racer when she's older with any luck. Old ferzon, muscat and naborr lines i think, id have to look at her papers. ^^ short necks and beautiful heads on them.

  • @isagp419 There's nothing wrong with gay night clubs. I agree with everything else you said, though.

  • @isagp419 Wow! spoken like a true bigot! You are so full of crap I can smell it from here. These horses are beautiful. There are halter Arabians and then there are performance Arabians. The breed is not being ruined and if you actually owned a champion halter Arabian you wouldn't be talking like this. I own a champion show English Springer Spaniel and then there are field ESS, same breed, different jobs is all.

  • @isagp419 If I may ask, where in the WORLD did you hear that people torture Arabians to get their heads to be dishy. It's a genetic trait that's bred into them, the same way you can breed for specific coat colors, the same way we got such diverse dog breeds as the Saint Bernard and the Pomeranian all from a single ancestral species.

  • @arizscout HAHAHAHAHA..I'm sorry I didn't mean to say that. I know the dishy head is a charateristic of the arabian. What I meant to say is that I do not agree with the torture methods they use in halter training (i am aware that there are certain trainers that handle the horses in more humane way) and which i HAVE SEEN FOR MYSELF!! these methods include: 1) making their necks sweat to the point they look like swan necks 2) having cosmetic surgery performed on the throat latch and ears

  • @isagp419 I have never heard of that in Sweden ! Happy for it ;) How to train an arabian: Use a whip with a plastic bag on it. The swan neck: Get a horse that have it and it will get fat. The end.

  • @JossannnGoesAwesome of course not!! in europe you have excellent trainers ;) that's why in most of europe you show beautiful horses in a very humane nature!! bravo!!! you should send people to USA and Brazil and teach them how to properly train an arabian :))

  • @arizscout 3) putting ginger in the rectum 4) whipping them to the point they sweat from terror 3) yanking the chain to the point they bleed under the jaw and 5) sending electric shock through the horse shoes to make their movements bigger....it's my opinion and maybe other don't agree with me but i think a horse should not need all these things to look beautful

  • @isagp419 I have owned and worked with Arabians for many years and I have NEVER heard of anyone doing any of those things.

  • Yh me too.. his neck is rly weird too! He kinda looks like a strange barbie horse O_o

*no offence intended- this is just what I think*

  • horse is beautiful, but what is this f***k music, they are ARABIAN horses, where s music arab? excusez mon anglais, mais la video ne vas pas avec la musique pourrie!!

  • @sisqua34 hmmmm his pedigree is a blend of Russian, Crabbet, Egyptian, Spanish breeding programs. And he was bred here in America and shown by Americans. I love the Arabic music but don't feel it has to be played exclusively or at all for that matter.

  • Arabian horses, thoroughbreds.

    a line of distinction!

    beautiful animal, very noble.

    excellent blog friend thanks!

    Mr. Lawyer Herwergth>> country,Deutschland = Germany .. North Hamburgh city>>

  • best regards from Germany to Bahrain ,Saudi Arabia and Kuwait

    regards

    Przemek Kulbacki

  • I have an arabian gelding out of Amunition and La Vida Loca, so I have been looking into his lines a lot. I think its odd that David Boggs would have that surgery on his throat latch, I see it kind of as plastic surgery, I personall like Kemosabi better, and I am a huge fan of Padrons Psyche and Padron (R.I.P)

  • @RanchoLamparitas I absolutly agree with you on being a huge fan of Padrons Psyche and Padron... :)

  • Looks like a giraffe had sex with a pony o.O

  • @pHiLeverhard no he doesn't...i would kill to have a colt or filly out of magnum psyche, he has beautiful babies research Magnum Chall.....then tell me magnum psyche isn't awesome...

  • @bballgirlmu1 I hope u wont, killing someone and gettin' locked up for a child of a pony and a giraffe would absolutely idiotic...

  • @pHiLeverhard i wasn't being literal.....good grief....

  • @pHiLeverhard They have those necks because of the breeding for crest in the necks. That is what you want in an Arabian.

  • @pHiLeverhard Magnum Psyche is the one stallion with near perfect conformation and you say he looks like a giraffe? Start doing your research hun

  • Yes is amazing!!!!! ...like she singing!!

  • looks like a seahorse

  • beautiful..he has such an amazing hooky neck and stunning head. WOW

  • because David Boggs had surgery on his throatlatch...

the horse his gorgeous. but he shouldn't be allowed to compete

  • I have put my Warmblood mare up for sale and have purchased an 96% Egyptian Arabian mare, just so that I can get some offspring from this Magnum Psyche...... ***SIGH*** absolutly gorgeous.

  • i think my mare has some of him in her i will hve to look at her papers but i am pretty sure

  • Magnum Psyche is flawless. An absolutly stunning animal... very inspirational stallion... I wonder how an offspring of him and a hanivarian x warmblood mare would do... Any ideas?

  • i would keep the blood line pure but it is ur horse so u can do what u want my mom wants to breed my PURE breed arab mare to a quarter horse (not like i have somethin against qauter horses) but i want to breed my mare to a arabian stallion like magunm but if she already has magunum then i guess i have to find a diffrent stallion

  • TOTALLY AMAZING....Look at this steed and how his stance is so perfect even in rest. His Offspring is a chip off the old block I see records set! I would love to ride on the open plain to feel the power he posesses! wild horses run free~!!

  • Magnum is amazing and his ability to sire both halter and performance is incredible . a wonderful mover and drop dead gorgeous horse . i am breeding to him as well . but i must disagree Da Valentino does NOT have him beat , he has a weak back for one and his head and movement are no were near Magnum's .

  • Magnum recently completed the Triple Crown in halter! He's an amazing stallion, my cousin's mare just had a Magnum Psyche filly.

  • its a barbie doll!!

  • Triple crown? voted on by Davids trainer friends. Same show the judges ignored whip marks. The Arabian halter world is a joke. And while he has sired some beautiful horses his blood is overused. Like most halter flavor of the month horses.

  • I agree, so many of these stallions are overused. I believe Magnum Psyche is ruining the American Arabian horse, because he consistently gives his offspring that crazy neck, bed leg conformation, long back and vertical carriage.

  • @Piassondra I am curious... have you seen all of the offspring of Magnum Psyche? I am only curious because I have always wanted to breed my mare to him. I love his long neck and long back.. my mare has the typical arabian footing in which her front legs are straight as an arrow and her hind legs point out... My mare is also short in the back but she too has a lovely long neck and the most adorable arabian facey :)

  • I know the horse in person...

He's pretty cool, but there are definitely cooler.

    Da Valentino has him beat...

I would know, too. I've spent a LOT of time with him...

Where's the mare True Desire owned by Mystica from aussie?

  • what's the name of song??

  • Its called amazing

  • 太美丽了!

  • tehe

i showed my mum and she was like O.O that first picture that comes up makes it look like a llama

    he is so preetty

  • look @ that neck!

    hot stuff!

  • hes got to be one of my favourite arabs out there

  • Defianitly. My mom had a grandson of Khemosabi. We called him Kho.(Koa) he was so sweet. He was getting old. About 27. So unfortunelty, we gave him away to a loving home with 3 other mares to breed. We stopped breeding. And wanted him to be breeding since he is so beath taking like all of the Khemosabi sons, and grandsons. But to me, he will always be my favorite of them all.

  • breath takingO_o

  • It almost looks like their muzzle has been sculptured! they are so perfect :)

  • I think it's the Arabian that shows the most beauty of the horse! It's just something about the graceful movements of him that just captures the true strength of the horse. They are a sight like no other!

  • The origin of the Arabian horses are from the land of Sheba, Yemen.

By the way the horse is beautiful.....

    Thanks for sharing...

    You know what they say...

    Sharing is carng...

    Hehe ^_^

  • This is the pure blood of Arabian horses

  • I have a filly in foal to Magnum Psyche i luv him and his grandady Padron

  • how much was his stud fee?

  • I like him! (l)

  • to me the Arabian,Mustang,Thourbred, and the Quarter Horse are what represents a horse!

  • Pretty horse
