Are you really 27?; or really in a 6th grade Jazz Band? I hope not both! Yikes!

Regardless, I put these videos out here primarily archive and celebrate these kids' efforts and accomplishments. They are terrific.

All that counts is that the kids have a good time, learn a little something, and focus on wholesome activities. That seems to be working at this school!

If you're in a sixth grade band, then you're about 12 or 13. So you have NO idea what you're talking about. This jazz band is pretty good. Also consider that this is on a video camera, so it sounds kinda strange because of that.

Not Bad!

Mikayla's 7th grade jazz band played the same song. I think it was their favorite song that year. Mikayla played the alto sax solo, and the video of it is on YouTube too. Check out her version some time - on her YouTube channel "mikaylasax" .

Thanks. Go Daddy-O is supposed to be rather up tempo. Take a look at the other 6. I think you'll see the planned variety.  Passion Flower is quite slow and mellow for instance, while String of Pearls might be considered more 'normal'.
